hi Darla, this pretty lady is a 8-year-old, 20 lbs. Shih Tzu / Bichon mix. She was surrendered to our care with another dog from commercial breeder when they was no longer needed. Darla spent many years being used for nothing more than profit so she is understandably a bit confused in her new life. She allows all handling but she is very timid. She will do her best imitation of a statue when meeting new people so she is looking for a loving and patient home that will help her gain more confidence. She really needs a home with a social dog to help her. She would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She is also scheduled for a dental evaluation and will receive it as the vet deems is necessary. Joseph is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Joseph is a possible Shih Tzu mix and around 1 to 1.5 years old (December 28) -Came into the rescue on December 26th.
