Story
This little boy pup Ruston is a fast learner. He loves to walk outside and only took him a few days to get his groove. He’s silly and cuddly. He is very food motivated if it’s the right food. He likes to be around other dogs(small). He’s very trusting once he gets his bearings. He loves treat puzzles. He will follow you everywhere as long as you let him. He’s a great companion. Ruston likes to cuddle but also when it’s bedtime goes to his little bed on his foster’s beds. It basically a small foldable crate with a bed in it. He’s beginning to understand to pee outside, but if he really needs to go he will just go in the house and he’s just learning to go on a pad if he can’t wait. He’s learning fast. From what we’ve seen he is a very chill dog he does well with any person and other dogs. He doesn’t bark at other dogs on walks. He can get nervous easily but he’s definitely starting to trust. He is not food aggressive or possessive, he lets other dogs lay on his bed. From what we’ve seen he is a very chill dog, he does well with any person and our dogs. He doesn’t bark at other dogs on walks. He can get nervous easily but he’s definitely starting to trust. He is not food aggressive or possessive, he lets other dogs lay on his bed. Overall he is the sweetest boy and very loving, he’s an awesome companion. Although he will be nervous at first, but with lots of love and treats he will trust in no time. He loves to roll all over the bed and be silly. When he comes in from his walks he now knows he will get a treat, so don’t be surprised when he’s waiting for his good boy treats. He also takes medicine very easily. Anyone would be lucky to get have the chance to be loved by Ruston.

Story
Meet Lilianna! She is a 4-year-old, 22 lb, Yorkie Terrier mix who was found as a stray in CA and is currently in a foster home. She is shy and skittish, and it will take some time to win her heart. She can be nervous and does not enjoy long car rides or new places. She is potty trained/house trained. She is a happy dog with lots of energy. She is very smart and playful with other dogs. She would love to have another dog in the home. She could possibly be an only dog but she would need a home where someone is home most of the time. She is extremely smart but has a sense of independence. She's stubborn and will listen when she's ready. She is a high flight risk since she won't come on command. She is quick and will dart out an open door and can be an escape artist. Due to her tendency to run, we are looking for a home for her within a 10-mile radius of the Edmonds area. We are looking for an adult only home for her with no children or grandchildren. She is spayed and microchipped. She's up to date on vaccination, and her fee is $550.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Welcome Cricket! She is an extremely shy, sweet, 5 ½ month old, 8 lb, Yorkie Terrier mix who is looking for a quiet, patient home that is full of love. Cricket is a sweet dog who has been through a lot in her short life and is very shut down. She will need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell and feel comfortable in a new environment. She would do best in a quiet, standalone home outside of the city with a with a securely fenced yard as she can be a flight risk. Due to her shy nature, she would do best in an adult-only home with no children. She does well with other dogs and currently lives in a foster home with other dogs. While can live well in a home with other dogs but she could also be fine as an only dog soaking up all of the love and attention. Cricket is working on potty training in her foster home and is pad trained. She will need grooming to keep her coat in good condition. She is quiet and well-behaved and will make a great companion for the right person or family. She has a lot of love to give and is just looking for the right person to give it to. Cricket is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi, my name is Sugar and I am a wonderful 7  year-old female Maltese, weighing in at approximately 8  lbs.    I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in Korea, where dogs like me endure unimaginable cruelty and hardship. Thankfully, compassionate rescuers saved me and gave me the chance to experience something I’d never known before, hope.  I’m a gentle and affectionate companion who loves being around people, including kind children. I get along well with other dogs and would enjoy a family who can shower me with attention and affection.  I’d do best in a home with a family who understands that rescued dogs need patience and time to adjust.    We recommend working with our skilled pet rescue trainer. My adoption fee of  $1,495 (tax-deductible and essential for supporting future rescues) c  overs Spay/Neuter.    DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations,  Deworming and Heartworm testing,  Microchipping,  Boarding fees, health certificate, and airline transport from Korea to Seattle.    For safety, all adopted dogs must have a GPS tracker or Apple AirTag.
