Meet Bitty! The cutest, sweetest, goofiest, snuggle bug around! Bitty is a young female Siamese that is sure to steal your heart. She is a special needs kitten looking for a special home with adopters that are able to manage her medical needs. Bitty doesn't appear to be able fully eliminate her bladder on her own due to Manx Syndrome. Manx Syndrome is common in tailless cats and has a variety of symptoms depending on how the cat's spinal cord is affected. Bitty will require a home that is able to help her eliminate her bladder, manage her incontinence, and keep her clean and happy. Meet Cleocatra. She is an 8 years young at heart kitty who needs to be queen of her own domain, no other furry animals in the house. She would probably do best in a home with adults only or older kids who can give her the respect she deserves. She's a talker, true to her Siamese roots! A true conversationalist. Snowflake is an owner surrender and was recently returned as not getting along with their cat. She is a quiet girl who is not interacting with the other cats at the cafe, so this may have been a personality issue. We are not sure how she would do around dogs. Nomad can take a beat to warm up, but once she does, she is a sweet lovey cat.  The loves gentle hugs and lots of petting. She will sit in your lap but as of right now just prefers to be close enough to pet.  She is just learning to play and seems to prefer string toys.  She has been perfect with her litterbox and isn't terribly picky about her food.  She is  currently settling in at the EAPL Cat Adoption Center at Chow Down in Evergreen.  Complete a cat application at www.eapl.com - once approved, you can visit and choose the kitten best suited to you and your home. These 6 indoor cats (Charlie, Wookie, Sweetie Pie, Buttons, Blue and Baby Cake) are now being kept in a shed in Westcliffe since their owner died and temps are dropping.  All are altered, and we have updated their vaccines along with testing for FIV/FeLV.   The owner of these cats has died, and the house is being sold so they can’t remain there.  A friend was told there were 2 or 3 outside cats at the home and she went to get them and keep them as barn cats.  When she got there, she found these 6 cats that had never been outside.  She had no place to put them in her home, so they are in her shed in Westcliffe .  It appears the owner took good care of the cats.  All wear collars with names.   These 6 will slowly transition to the Cat Adoption Center, found at Chow Down in Evergreen, as space becomes available. Complete a cat application at www.eapl.com - once approved, you can visit and choose the cat best suited to you and your home.   January 7, 2026, 1:58 pm

  We took in Arborvitae and his siblings/friends because their owner passed away.Family was unable to take them.They are all very unique cats. Arborvitae is polydactyl which means he has extra thumbs. Because of this, he will require nail trimmings every 4-6 weeks, otherwise the nails will get imbedded into his pads which is very painful and could lead to infection or other behavioral issues. They are all very sweet and vocal cats. They love being rubbed on and getting all the attention they can get. We would like to adopt them in pairs, although that is not required. All the cats who came in with this group: (Barberry, Hosta, Arborvitae, Moss Rose, Sweet Alyssum, Salvia, Begonia, Verbena, Caladium) Children 12 and over. foster: chcl  Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household.
