Cookie is a sweet/sassy blue eyed beauty.  She is about 2 years old.  She raised her baby and is now ready for her forever home.  She likes to play with other cats.  I think an ideal home would have another young cat for her to play with.  Her favorite toy is a soft, fluffy ball.  She carries it around like she hunted it.  She loves to run and gets the zoomies.  She is affectionate and likes to sit on the arm of my chair. She has good litter box manners. Who are our Working Cats? Some cats are not social enough to live as indoor pets, and prefer an independent lifestyle. These cats have experience living outdoors and are proficient mousers. Since these kitties are happier and more successful outdoors, we put them to work in homes, farms, and businesses where they can do what they do best. All our blue collar kitties are spayed/neutered, ear tipped, and fully vaccinated. Why hire a Working Cat? By hiring a blue collar kitty, you can avoid using toxic pesticides, save money on a pest control service, and provide a home to a cat in need. Adoption fees are waived for our Working Cats. Blue is a sweet, loving cat who is looking for a wonderful new home where he can receive the time, attention, and affection he deserves. He has been very loved, and making the decision to rehome him has not been easy. Blue is affectionate, curious, and a wonderful companion. I’m hoping to find him a safe, stable home with someone who genuinely loves cats and is ready to make him part of their family. Due to an unexpected change in my circumstances, I’m no longer able to give Blue the amount of attention and care that I feel he deserves. This decision is being made entirely with his happiness and well-being in mind. I would love for Blue’s new home to be with someone patient, caring, responsible, and able to give him plenty of love and companionship. Most importantly, I want to know that he will be safe, cherished, and well cared for. 💙

Santo is a 10-year-old long-haired Siamese mix adopted from Animal Friends Alliance three years ago. Before adoption, he had been returned to the shelter multiple times due to litter box issues, which were not disclosed to us at the time and we later learned after contacting the shelter.He is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and gentle cat who loves to cuddle and be near people.Unfortunately, his litter box issues have been ongoing the entire time we’ve had him and have not improved. He urinates and defecates right next to his litter box every time. We’ve worked with a vet who suspects possible hyperthyroidism and believes further testing and treatment may help.We love him deeply, but as renters we can no longer manage the damage and cleanup. We are looking for a patient home willing to pursue medical care and manage his needs, and we strongly hope to prevent him from ever being returned to a shelter again.

Nova is a brave little fighter with a heart full of love and a personality that shines brighter than her name. She has been through SO much! She was rescued after being found in the mouth of a raccoon. She didn’t have any puncture wounds but suffered a back injury. She has two tightly compressed discs, which caused complete paralysis of he back legs. We had hoped for more significant movement to be regained, but there has only been a slight improvement. She requires her bladder expressed daily. Nova loves to play “stealth mode,” sneaking around corners to surprise the older cats. She’s clever, adventurous, and always keeps her foster family smiling. She also learned to use ramps so she can climb up to the couch, where she happily burrows into soft blankets for naps. When it’s time to recharge, Nova retreats to her cozy Furhaven bed, but she also loves snuggles, car rides, and spending time with her foster family. Nova does have special needs. Due to her back injury, she likely won’t regain use of her back legs, and she will need to wear diapers for life. Her daily routine consists of bathing, powdering, and occasionally cream for her diapered areas (sometimes several times a day), physical therapy exercises, red light therapy, playtime, and lots of snuggles. She doesn’t let any of this slow her down one bit; she climbs, zooms, and plays like any other kitten. She simply needs a forever family who is willing to continue the care routine she’s used to. Nova is 1 year old, healthy, happy, off all medications, and officially ready for her forever home.
