Story
Whitey is very sweet yet initially cautious. Once she's used to you she loves to cuddle and follow you for walks around the neighborhood. She has never scratched or bitten anyone, even under stress. She's extremely gentle and intelligent. She mainly sheds during Spring so brushing during this time is helpful. Since she was a kitten she's used a cat door to go outside. If kept inside all the time I'm afraid she'll be understimulated. Because she is cautious, she's well suited for outdoor life although she absolutely loves being inside when its cold and she loves company. She's a good mouser but it is tragic when she catches a bird. We go to the well pet clinic at Longmont humane, all her records are there and she’s in perfect health. The vet said most blue eyed white cats are deaf but Whitey is not deaf! Unfortunately my infant twins are too rough with her so I must rehome her and her sister, Creamy. They tolerate each other but are not bonded so don't have to go together.

Story
Freya is a 2-year-old rescue from the East Coast (birthday 10/29/23). She’s a shy, sensitive girl who takes a little time to warm up, but once she feels safe, she is incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving. She forms a strong bond with her person and enjoys quiet companionship. Freya would do best in a calm, quiet home with one or two people where she can feel secure. She has had some eye irritation, possibly allergies, that may need monitoring. This is a very difficult decision for me, as she means so much to me, but due to my frequent travel, I want to find her a patient, loving home where she can have the consistency and care she truly deserves.

Story
Vidia was found in a shelter in Dallas, where she was very skinny and a bit skittish. She has warmed up to people, but gets territorial around other pets. It is best if she is in a house with no other animals, and owners that can give her lots of love and affection! She needs a home where people are around during the day because she has a bit of separation anxiety and gets nervous when left alone for long periods of time! She is very chatty and entertaining!

Story
Meet Nova: a small but mighty kitten with a huge personality who’s ready to steal your heart. Nova is a brave little fighter with a heart full of love and a personality that shines brighter than her name. She has been through SO much! She was rescued after being found in the mouth of a raccoon. She didn’t have any puncture wounds but suffered a back injury. She has two tightly compressed discs, which caused complete paralysis of he back legs. She was originally unable to urinate on her own. She now has no issues going to the bathroom, but most of the paralysis remains. We had hoped for more significant movement to be regained, but there has only been a slight improvement. She was also riddled with parasites, causing serious tummy troubles. She has endured several rounds of different medicines and needed extra TLC—but she has blossomed into a thriving, playful, and affectionate kitten. At just over two and a half pounds, Nova is still catching up in size, but don’t let her tiny frame fool you—she’s bursting with energy and mischief. Nova loves to play “stealth mode,” sneaking around corners to surprise the older cats. She’s clever, adventurous, and always keeps her foster family smiling. She also learned to use ramps so she can climb up to the couch, where she happily burrows into soft blankets for naps. When it’s time to recharge, Nova retreats to her cozy Furhaven bed, but she also loves snuggles, car rides, and spending time with her foster family. Nova does have special needs. Due to her back injury, she likely won’t regain use of her back legs, and she will need to wear diapers for life. Her daily routine consists of bathing, powdering, and occasionally cream for her diapered areas (sometimes several times a day), physical therapy exercises, red light therapy, playtime, and lots of snuggles. She would also benefit greatly from kitten wheelchairs, upgraded as she grows, and the addition of acupuncture and electrostim. She doesn’t let any of this slow her down one bit; she climbs, zooms, and plays like any other kitten. She simply needs a forever family who is willing to continue the care routine she’s used to. Nova is healthy, happy, off all medications, and officially ready for her forever home. Her ideal family will understand her special needs and love her for the incredible, resilient, and sweet kitten she is. Could you be the one to give Nova the safe, loving home she’s been waiting for? You can find more pictures and videos of Nova on Instagram @skihousepets ##2511891##
