Story
I’ve had my cat Lucy for almost 14 years- since she was a kitten. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but my life has changed so much with becoming a new mom. She always stays in the basement because she doesn’t like my step-son’s dog and with my 3 month old baby, I don’t have time to spend with her. Our family needs the space in the basement. I’m looking for someone who can give her a comfortable life for her remaining years. Lucy is a sweet girl once she becomes comfortable with you, which can take a little time. She loves to play and snuggle. She lived alone with me and her litter mate Linus for 12 years before I met my husband. She would do best in a calm home with no other pets or small children, as she gets startled easily. She is completely house trained, and never has had litter box accidents. She does have claws, but is gentle with them unless she feels provoked.

Story
She was adopted in early 2019 by a mother and daughter. Shortly after, the mother passed. In October 2025, the daughter passed, leaving behind four cats. She’s a little unsure around men since she’s met very few, but she warms up to people quickly. If you’re looking for an attached-at-the-hip bestie, Anna is the lovebug for you! She is large and in charge (we’ve been working on her weight ). She loves to play and is quite fond of catnip. And when the fun is done, she’s ready for a snuggle on the couch. She would be great as a single cat to keep you company, but does well with others. She is a dilute calico with some Siamese somewhere. Her eyes are slightly crossed and she has mild nystagmis, which is harmless and means her eyes shake a little sometimes. (Like actor Pruitt Taylor Vince who played Jonathan Kent in the 2025 Superman!)Fostering and transporting to places where there is a need for adoptable animals, saves lives, it's that simple. Miami Animal Alliance's goal is to be the premium go to place to find your new family member! We work carefully with our Veterinarians and foster families to prepare our pets to be a healthy and happy new family member! Our adoption donations help cover our medical cost, food and transport costs. All pets are up to date on vaccines, they are flea treated, dewormed, spayed or neutered, and tested for FELV/FIV and Heartworm (if of age). All pets are also micro-chipped. Please do not use autofill on adoption application. Inputted info deletes when submitted and then we can't reach you. Cats and kittens are $150 local in Oklahoma and $225 if transported to Colorado. It is $400 to adopt a pair transported to Colorado and $250 to adopt a pair locally in Oklahoma - this is because we love when the fur babies stay forever with a sibling or friend, but the adoption of a pair is not required. Local Oklahoma adoptions donation fee is $175 for dogs. Dogs transported to Colorado is a total complete fee of $325, unless there is a special price for certain pet. At times the fee may be adjusted for a special dog or cat.

Story
Bodhi is a beautiful 2-year-old Siamese. His looks are a lot of what he’s got going for him because his outgoing personality ain’t it.Think of him like Megan Mullally on Will and Grace, or Carrie Bradshaw. Beautiful, fashion-forward, a martini in paw…but no touchies. He needs an adopter who is content having a pretty face and a chubby waist chirping from a few feet away.He is a somewhat feral cat that has come to appreciate the comforts of indoor living. He sleeps on a velvet blanket, has more beds than he can count, eats a churu (or 2) every day, and plays with his toys and adores his foster siblings. He also gets drunk on catnip, but it’s a “give it to him and leave quickly before the crazy drunk comes out” situation. He vocalizes and chirps like many Siamese and on his own terms he WILL accept and even ask for pets, and over time he will progress further. For right now, he needs someone who doesn’t have a strict timeline on affection to give him the space to flourish. His foster parents find his quirks funny, his dazed look adorable, and his boundary-setting admirable. He doesn’t even need therapy - he was just born with it. Story
Zut is super cute and loves to lounge! A perfect office cat, she never gets on the keyboard or in front of the monitor! She is a little possessive of the office chair but if you give her one of her own she will be perfectly happy! She loves attention and will roll to show you her belly almost instantly. A few belly rubs are okay, but she sets the rules! She does like to lick bare skin. When Zut came to her foster home she hid for a few days longer than expected and liked to have her own safe place. She is now perfectly comfortable, loves to gallop around the place muttering to herself and carries her ball around in her mouth. She will still shy from strangers and noisy activity. She would like a peaceful home with calm people. She wants to hang out, not on your lap, but maybe next to you, just touching. Being fostered in Grand Junction. Children over 9. Story
Meet Nova: a small but mighty kitten with a huge personality who’s ready to steal your heart. Nova is a brave little fighter with a heart full of love and a personality that shines brighter than her name. She has been through SO much! She was rescued after being found in the mouth of a raccoon. She didn’t have any puncture wounds but suffered a back injury. She has two tightly compressed discs, which caused complete paralysis of he back legs. She was originally unable to urinate on her own. She now has no issues going to the bathroom, but most of the paralysis remains. We had hoped for more significant movement to be regained, but there has only been a slight improvement. She was also riddled with parasites, causing serious tummy troubles. She has endured several rounds of different medicines and needed extra TLC—but she has blossomed into a thriving, playful, and affectionate kitten. At just over two and a half pounds, Nova is still catching up in size, but don’t let her tiny frame fool you—she’s bursting with energy and mischief. Nova loves to play “stealth mode,” sneaking around corners to surprise the older cats. She’s clever, adventurous, and always keeps her foster family smiling. She also learned to use ramps so she can climb up to the couch, where she happily burrows into soft blankets for naps. When it’s time to recharge, Nova retreats to her cozy Furhaven bed, but she also loves snuggles, car rides, and spending time with her foster family. Nova does have special needs. Due to her back injury, she likely won’t regain use of her back legs, and she will need to wear diapers for life. Her daily routine consists of bathing, powdering, and occasionally cream for her diapered areas (sometimes several times a day), physical therapy exercises, red light therapy, playtime, and lots of snuggles. She would also benefit greatly from kitten wheelchairs, upgraded as she grows, and the addition of acupuncture and electrostim. She doesn’t let any of this slow her down one bit; she climbs, zooms, and plays like any other kitten. She simply needs a forever family who is willing to continue the care routine she’s used to. Nova is healthy, happy, off all medications, and officially ready for her forever home. Her ideal family will understand her special needs and love her for the incredible, resilient, and sweet kitten she is. Could you be the one to give Nova the safe, loving home she’s been waiting for? You can find more pictures and videos of Nova on Instagram @skihousepets ##2511891##
