Story
We adopted Loki as a kitten from the Adam's County Animal Shelter, we've had him for 9 years. Loki is a 9 year old male Siamese Mix (color - flame point) with beautiful blue eyes and white fur with orange tips. His color changes with the weather. He's a sweet boy, enjoys napping most of the day and loves his head rubbed. He is around dogs but doesn't appreciate them - not mean but will prefer to hide. He hasn't been around kids. Loki is a little slower on playing but still loves a good catnip filled toy or a fishing pole with feathers. He's a shy boy in new environments, he'll hide if he gets overwhelmed. He loves to snuggle up at night and has an awesome purr. I developed allergies a year after adopting Loki, I am on my second round of allergy shots and am struggling to get them under control. Loki has medium length fur but a decent amount of it. I am looking for someone to give him the snuggles, loves, and attention I am unable to.

Story
(Prince) Charming is a classic movie star handsome Seal Point Siamese.  But unlike the unfortunate depiction from Disney, he is very sweet and kind.  He allowed me to trim his nails and did not react at all when we "tested" him with our two dogs.  He likes to talk to you, but is more of a calm introvert.  He came from a home with other cats and got along very well.  Of course, you should always do a slow introduction with any new cat/dog to their new family pet members.   Charming is neutered, chipped, fully vaxed for the next 12 months.  Litterbox trained and tested negative for felv/fiv.   Come meet me at PetSmart in Lone Tree/Park Meadows.  ##2048901##

Story
Sammy boy here. I'm so excited to share my story with you all.I am just over 15 years old and have lived my best life so far. I have always been in the same household as my sister Sadie, which is why I have been exposed to being around at least another cat my entire life. I was not introduced to other cats or dogs outside of the cat I was already living with but have gotten some exposure in the shelter being around other cats and have done fine. One thing that really makes me happy throughout the day is knowing that I get some catio time with sunshine and a cool breeze. I do enjoy bird watching when lounging out on the catio. I came to MaxFund in June of this year and although I am enjoying my stay, I would really like to be out of here in my new home environment. I was relinquished to this shelter because my parents of 15 years decided they were wanting a change in lifestyle. Moved to North Carolina and did not want to stress me out with the drive there and figured I would benefit best in this environment for a while. It has taken some time to adjust to my surroundings but so far so good! I am ready to find my new pet parent(s).

Story
Hi there! My name is Arisa! I'm 16 years old, but young at heart! In fact, my previous adopter said I still act like a kitten in terms of my desire to play! I am also sweet as can be and extremely affectionate, so if you're looking for a loving senior gal, look no further!I was adopted recently and unfortunately had to be returned because I was being a bit of a bother to the other senior cat in the home. In fact, going forward, I would definitely be better suited for cohabitation with a cat who has a similar social disposition. I do have hyperthyroid and long term I will need dental check ups, but don't fret! The hyperthyroidism can be managed with medicine, which I'm a really good girl at taking! Topical can be a little easier on me than oral administration, though--surely you wouldn't want a stranger putting their fingers in your mouth! I do well with other cats, but not so great with kiddos! It's unknown how I do with dogs, but that's something I'm always willing to test for you! Come stop by and see me, and I'm sure we'll fall in love!

Story
Yoohoo was adopted from dumb friends league as a kitten 13 years ago. Recently she was diagnosed with diabetes, this has been manageable thus far with a change to diabetic cat food. Unfortunately with her age one of our younger cats has begun bullying her, this is one reason we are looking to rehome. We also are making a very big move out of state and will be renting and are struggling to find a location that will accept our number of pets. We are hopeful that someone else will be able to provide her a more peaceful home where she will be cared for and loved for the remainder of her years.

Story
Simon is an 8-year-old neutered male flame point Siamese. He lived with my father for the last 8 years, unfortunately, my father passed away recently and Simon needs a new person. He does have a medical condition called "Mega Colon" meaning he needs to be on life long medications or he gets constipated easily (they're pretty easy and he eats them mixed in his food). He does great on canned food ie. friskies, sheba, fancy feast, I and Love and You. etc. He has one medication that you rub on his ear twice daily as well. He is very shy and skittish these days as he's had a lot of changes in his world in a short time. He has lived with other cats as well as small and large dogs without issue. He is indoors only, Microchipped, and I can make sure he is up to date on vaccines before he is rehomed. I am happy to help with a stock pile of medications to get you started.
