You can meet Miss Kitty when a volunteer is available (or by appointment 727-748-6047) in the adoption center at PetSmart Tyrone Square Mall, St. Petersburg, FL. Miss Kitty is a lovely 5-year-old tortie point Siamese with soft blue eyes and a gentle, peaceful nature. She’s a quiet and undemanding girl who enjoys the simple things in life—soft petting, cozy beds, and long naps tucked into warm blankets. Miss Kitty especially loves savoring her favorite Churu treats and will happily lick them up while spending calm time with her person. She may prefer being the only pet in the home, where she can relax and feel secure. A calm household with older children or a retired human companion would be the perfect match for this sweet, serene girl. There is a screening process and a contract must be completed prior to any adoption. Renters will be asked to provide proof that pets are allowed. The present adoption fee is $250.00 (please note this amount may change without notification).  All cats in our care were rescued from various situations and may have experienced health issues or trauma. While we provide comprehensive veterinary care, including deworming, defleaing, and treatment for any existing conditions, we cannot guarantee that a cat will remain completely healthy after adoption. It's important to understand that cats can develop health issues at any time, and regular veterinary check-ups are recommended. My niece has an estate sale business and she got Lucy and her very tiny brother Linus at a house. Linus had failure to thrive and did not make it. Lucy was raised by dogs and she does the whole sniff the behind thing, which the other cats hate and she is not really the greatest around the newer dog, but she does get along with the dogs who were around her as a kitten, so maybe dogs, but probably not cats although she does watch them on TV. She’s very vocal and complains about her (obviously) starving to death between meals. She’s a scratcher, so you’ll needs scratching posts or thrift furniture, ngl. She’s also been known to lose her entire brain and run up the screen on the porch if there’s a lizard involved, so, fair warning. And, of course, Siamese, so she has her own ideas and let’s you know if you’re not taking her complaints seriously.
