Meet Rufus. When Rufus was found, his face and head were covered in severe mange. His eyes were burning, his body was weak, and he had clearly been struggling just to survive outside-scraping together whatever food he could find and enduring far more than any cat should have to. My foster has discovered that I’m quite the little nighttime housekeeper. 😂 Anything I can pick up off the floor, I apparently need to bring onto the bed. I also have a very important morning routine — around 6 AM, it’s time for zoomies! 🐾💨 And if I want something, I’m not shy about letting you know. I can be pretty loud and persistent when I’ve decided I need your attention! I’m also fascinated by ceiling fans… although I’m not entirely sure whether I love them or fear them. 😂 I’m a very hungry boy, and I have earned the nickname “Bonk” because I love head-butting and nudging everything around me. 🫶🏼 I may hiss when I’m unsure or overwhelmed, but I don’t bite. I just need time to understand that I’m safe. My ideal home would be a calm, relaxed family who stays home often and can give me plenty of time to settle in and feel comfortable.
