Story
Meet handsome and oh so sweet Blue who enjoyed a loving home until his owner became ill and eventually passed away. Blue is a handsome blue-point snowshoe Siamese with crystal blue eyes and an adorable little mustache who is estimated to be around 8-9 years old. He is called big blue because of his big blue eyes but is a healthy weight of about 10-11 pounds. He is very chill but still has a playful side, loves balls, and craves human attention. He is quick to purr and very trusting of humans and looking for someone who appreciates quality time together on the couch reading or watching some good cat TV. He’s loves to sleep in bed with his human and is sure to help you unwind and feel relaxed. He has very short but thick fur coat and requires regular brushing. He lived in a home with other kitties and did well with them however, in his new environment he has become susceptible to being the target of bulling and so we would like to find him a home where he is the only kitty if possible and can be spoiled and loved the way he deserves. We don't know if he has ever met a dog but should do well with a polite pup. Currently being fostered in a loving home in StPete. To set up an appointment to meet, please submit an adoption application found at CJPAWS.ORG/ADOPT Please follow us on Facebook where you can message questions via messenger. 100% of adoption fees directly support CJPaws, a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue headquartered in St. Petersburg, FL where we are dedicated towards improving animal welfare in our community. Story
Born 12/19/23 Horseradish is the complete opposite of her namesake and oh so sweet! Although not as demanding as her brother, Horseradish loves to climb in your lap and cuddle you for so long you forget she’s even there. When there’s not a human lap for her to snuggle in, she can be found curled up with her brother Ketchup. She doesn’t talk much, but her purr is thunderous and she’ll start up her motor as soon as she sees you. Loves to play, but doesn’t like to share her play time with other cats. *Bonded with her brother Ketchup and must be adopted as a pair* ** To apply to adopt one of our animals, please go to our website, www.cjpaws.org and visit the Adoptions page. Story
Maggie’s previous owners were an older couple that passed away, the other family members were unable to care for her. We have been taking care of her for 3 years now but as our family is growing Maggie would be happier being an only cat in an only pet household. She is a sweet cat, loves to nap with you and lay in a sunspot. She knows how to use a litter box. She’s very pretty and we’ve been told she could be a Siamese or horseshoe mix.

Story
Josie was found in the wheel of our car about 4 years ago, she is a beautiful cat and is very lovely with humans. We would love to rehome her into a home with no other female cats, our problem with her is that we cannot get her to stop peeing anywhere in the house because of behavioral issues with one of our female cats. She is an extremely awesome cat to have but we no longer can afford her behavioral problems anymore. We would also get her all up to date with vaccines and will provide with a bag of cat food.

Story
I adopted Ming a year ago and he is a great companion. He is not a lap cat but meow's a bit when he wants to talk or socialize. I lost my job and selling my home to do some traveling so I need to find a nice new home for him. He is three years old and very low maintenance. He does very well with dogs and is actually more social when there are dogs around. My fiancee has two Pomeranians and the cat loves playing with them.

Story
Jimmy is handsome, friendly and so sweet! He came to us a little over a year ago when our veterinarian refused his former owner's request to euthanize him for what was a treatable skin condition. Instead, the owner agreed to surrender him and we took him under our care. We treated his skin condition, got some weight on him as he was too skinny, and he was quickly adopted. Unfortunately his person passed away and he was re-homed, but that person shortly returned him here. So through so fault of his own, he has come back to the shelter. He looks great and considering the circumstances, is adjusting well to being with us again, but he would really like to go back to a home again soon. If you’re looking for a low maintenance cat, Jimmy is perfect! He has his playful moments, but really, he just wants to hang out in a soft, cuddly spot with you.
