Story
Miso was found wandering the streets as a 3 week old kitten. His eyes were barely starting to open at the time and one of them was already battling an infection. As soon as we were told about this poor baby we took him in immediately. We nurtured him back to health and started the process of adopting him to a loving family, it ended up not working out and we decided to keep Miso until another opportunity for a permanent home came up. It’s been about 8 months with us and he’s such a great cat, our home is just overwhelmed with our other pets and our landlord has restrictions on how many animals we can have. Miso needs a home with a family who can give him all the unconditional love and attention he deserves. He is extremely lively and playful but also cuddly and loves making biscuits and purring so loud it can be heard all the way in another room lol he’s just so sweet and deserves a family that can give him the undivided attention he needs.

Story
Imagine the soft weight of a gentle heart resting beside you. This is Romeo, a Siamese Seal Point who carries a story as deep as his soulful eyes. He is calm, quiet, and so full of love, yet life hasn’t always shown him the same kindness. Not long ago, a cat resembling Romeo met a heartbreaking fate, a tragedy that shook us deeply. It was then that Romeo appeared, as if sent by fate itself, needing someone to fight for him. Determined not to let history repeat itself, we stepped in to protect this beautiful soul. Now neutered, vaccinated, and safe, Romeo waits for the chapter he deserves—a life of warmth, care, and belonging. He’s more than just a cat; he’s a survivor, a symbol of hope, and a source of quiet comfort. Will you open your heart and home to this extraordinary boy? Romeo is ready to write his happy ending—with you in a quiet home, without other cats, dogs, or kids. The adoption fee of $200 is a donation to our rescue. Manatee, Hillsborough, Sarasota, and Pinellas counties only. Please apply to adopt him online at https://www.duetteanimalrescueteam.org/online-adoption-application. Thank you for caring.
