Story
Meet Sebastian !Sebastian came to us after his owner had to move and could no longer keep him. He is a very sweet boy at heart, but the sudden change in his world was scary for him, and it caused him to shut down at first.Right now, Sebastian is working hard on finding his confidence again and getting back to his usual loving self. He’s a big, nervous boy who just needs time, patience, and a calm environment to feel safe. If you go slow and let him set the pace, he will allow gentle pets and show you just how sweet he truly is.Sebastian would do best with someone who understands shy cats and is willing to give him the space and reassurance he needs to blossom. With patience and kindness, this gentle soul has so much love to give.Could you be the one to help Sebastian feel safe again?FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

Story
Kiwi is the best – but if you tell them so, you’ll make them blush! They don’t like being the center of attention, but if you give them soft blinky eyes and a little patience, you’ll soon become theirs. They’re very good at hide and seek, so since you want their lovely company as much as possible, it’d be best to take things slow. After all, the best things in life are worth waiting for – like a special bond with a cat who doesn’t give head bumps to just anyone. I’m looking for a lowkey household without any young kids so I can be your main focus.

Story
***Video of her can be seen on our Facebook page here.*** Chenille was found as a stray trying to find shelter. She also had an ear infection so severe, the pain caused her to stop eating. This is something that would have to be monitored and may or may not return. CHENILLE is an adult cat, though we can't be sure of her exact age. she seems to be comfortable around other cats too. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Novie, a 1-year-old Siamese Tabby mix. He is a beautiful boy with his stunning blue eyes He LOVES sitting in windows enjoying the fresh air and keeping an eye on all the squirrels, chipmunks and all mother nature’s creatures. Gazing outside is his happy place when he feels calm, especially at nighttime. He loves laying in the sun and his favorite thing in the world is a Chicken Delectable Squeeze Up He loves to follow us around the house and hasn’t been very vocal unless you shut the door and he’s not in the room with you or if its food related (very food motivated growing boy). Novie is not a huge cuddler, but he does enjoy pets from his human. He is not a fan of tummy rubs and will give you a little bunny back leg warning kicks if you forget and rub his belly. He doesn’t enjoy being picked up and is a little wiggly at times but he LOVES to be brushed! His favorite is a big, tall scratching tree! He is a huge fan and uses his tree daily, but he hasn’t shown an interest in the scratchers that are flat on the floor. He allows nail trims, although he’s not a huge fan of it, we are able to distract him with his favorite yummy treat. So far, he hasn’t shown an interest in jumping on the kitchen counters, but he is curious and stretches his paw up when he wants to see what is going on. Novie is full of energy and must be play with multiple times a day. He gets at least 30 minutes of play time in the morning and evening. He’s a young boy and young boys like to play! He is good with other cats and would do well with a playmate around the same age as him. If you have room in your home and heart for Novie, please complete an application today. All MISR cats are neutered or spayed, current on rabies and distemper, have tested negative for FIV/FELV and all known health issues have been addressed. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Hattie, a Siamese Chocolate Point, who is approximately 6 or 7 years. She is a beautiful girl with her stunning blue eyes She is SO special because she is SO loving! She loves to be around people it is her favorite thing in the world! If you are looking for a lap cat, Hattie is the girl you have been looking for. She would spend every waking minute in her human’s lap if you let her Foster dad says she makes the best sleeping buddy. Hattie does have one problem…if there is a heating pad in one of the cat beds, she is so torn between leaving that warm sleeping spot and the warmth of her human’s lap Guess that is a good problem to have! Hattie is not much of a talker, which is surprising for Siamese cats, but she does make tiny little sounds, and she does like to purr! Hattie must be an only kitty. She is a special needs kitty and has persistent nasal congestion that, despite medication, gives her moments of coughing. There are some indications of early onset kidney disease or a possible kidney injury and Hattie will need to be on special food for life. If you have room in your home and heart for Hattie, please complete an application today. All MISR cats are neutered or spayed, current on rabies and distemper, have tested negative for FIV/FELV and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Hattie is $200 and she is being fostered in Novi Michigan.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
