Story
Hi my name is Simon! I am a shy cat looking for a patient owner who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. I can be rather shy so I would prefer a quieter home without younger children. Once I get comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. After all, the best things in life are worth waiting for – like a special bond with a cat who likes the calmer side of life.

Story
Olive has had a rough handful of years lately. She was an only pet living happily with her person. Very secure and affectionate. After she was three, her owner, without Olive's permission, had the audacity to bring in a dog. This made Olive sad as she was enjoying her life as it was. Olive started separating herself from the rooms the dog was in. Next, her owner had a couple kids back to back, which caused Olive to hiding most of the time. Next, another kitten was gifted to the family and this sent Olive over the edge. She really needs to be the only pet in the house. Olive is a beautiful Siamese mix, super friendly and sweet with people, she is great as a companion. We are looking for a non smoking home, no little kids or other pets. Someone who is either working from home, retired or home most of the time. For more information on Olive, call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your photo to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Babs (short for Baobab) is a lovely Blue-Point Siamese and was born in 6/2/2020. She is somewhat comfortable with him now and loves the foster Auntie. Babs will often jump up on the desk while foster dad is working on the computer. She will pace back and forth as he scratches her backside. For the most part she is quiet, but she can be a talker. She came from a somewhat chaotic background, so her hesitancy/shyness is understandable. She might be best as an only cat for someone who would give her the attention she needs and deserves. She has recently jumped up on the desk and began rubbing her face against foster dad’s face while noticeably purring. Babs must be adopted into a home that does not have children. If you have room in your home and heart for this beautiful girl, please complete an application today. All MISR cats are neutered or spayed, current on rabies and distemper, have tested negative for FIV/FELV and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Babs is $200. She is in a foster home in Novi Michigan.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please inquire about this kitty on our official website:  http://mi-siamese-rescue.rescuegroups.org Our adoption policies and online form are located here: Adoption Information. MISR always accepts donations of lightly used cat carriers, cat trees/towers, and polartec delivery blankets. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Torchy is a beautiful, Flame Point Siamese girl. She is looking for a home with people who can handle her energy and playful spirit. She was born on May 26, 2025.  Torchy is full of energy. Her energy often exceeds others in their ability to deal with her. While she was here, she made friends with a male kitty that matched her energy level, but he has been adopted. She doesn't get into fights with the other cats, but they do not have her energy level. Torchy needs a kitty friend to play with, that is within 5 years of her age. Torchy must be adopted into a home that does not have children. If you have room in your home and heart for this beautiful girl, please complete an application today. All MISR cats are neutered or spayed, current on rabies and distemper, have tested negative for FIV/FELV and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Babs is $250. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Nemo is approximately six years old according to the vet and has come a long way since he was found in an abandoned house living in an abandoned van. He was scared and alone and fed by a neighboring woman who didn’t want to surrender him to a shelter.  She heard about Michigan Siamese Rescue, contacted Nan and his life began to unfold. He had several lesions on his back that needed immediate attention, an upper respiratory infection, double ear infection and dental disease requiring surgery along with a hernia and nasal flush. He has gone through some tough times. Gaining his trust was a bit of a challenge but once he knew he was safe he started taking baby steps towards a new life with his new foster mom.  From a scared kitty needing so much medical attention evolved a gentle, beautiful cuddly boy who loves attention. He loves to nuzzle foster mom’s neck and cuddle on her lap for a nice nap.  He loves to be carried around the house and will snuggle tight wrapping his legs around moms’ neck like a monkey. He follows mom throughout the house making sure to keep her in close range. He is very playful and loves his toys, always wanting foster mom to play along with him. He also loves playing with the younger Meezers and romping through the house.  He loves the dog and always wants to stop for a nose cuddle when passing by.  He is fascinated with the vacuum cleaner and just lays and watches.  I think the sound is mesmerizing to him. He is a gentle boy who wants and deserves a full-time family to love him. He will do best with someone who is home quite a bit and another younger cat to play with. If you have room in your home and heart for Neemo, please complete an application today. All MISR cats are neutered or spayed, current on rabies and distemper, have tested negative for FIV/FELV and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Ling is $250. Story
Willow is a fun playful cat who loves to play with her little mice toys! She loves to cuddle in your lap .She also likes to play chase the string. She sits and gives high fives for her treats. She’s very smart! We’ve had her and her brother since they were 2 weeks old and rescued 4 years ago. Her brother had some surgery and since he’s been home she is afraid of him! She growls, hisses and puffs up yet she won’t leave him alone , which is causing her brother to spray around the house! We have tried everything to get them back together. We hate to do this but we don’t seem to have any other choice! We love her but it’s not fair to either cat! Also Willow is an indoor cat only and she has not been declawed!
