Story
Some cats who end up at HSHV cannot adapt to indoor living. They may be feral (i.e., born and raised in the wild), or under-socialized and prefer little to no human contact. Whatever the reason, we still believe these cats deserve a happy life and that they can be placed with families who value them as much as we do. Adopting a barn cat can be a mutually beneficial relationship – you will be saving the life of a healthy cat, while they will help scare off small, pesky rodents! To people who qualify, barn cat adoption is FREE.

Story
Hi there, my name is Loretta. I am a very sweet and laidback kitty that would love nothing more than a warm lap, good food, and the love of a forever family. I’m a quiet cat, looking for a home without any dogs, cats, or young children so I can relax and take naps in the sunshine with you. Adopting a senior cat like me would be a perfect fit for families that enjoy a more relaxed household. With a senior cat, what you see is, for the most part, what you get when it comes to temperament and personality!

Or, how about these Siameses in cities near Ann Arbor, Michigan

Story
Hi. This is Lacey. She is a Siamese cat that is 17 years old and I've owned her for 16 years. She is a very sweet cat and loves her kids. She has no known health issues (she doesn't go to the vet), the only thing I've had to have done for her was a tooth extraction and antibiotics for a tooth abscess. I believe she is microchipped and she is front declawed. She would probably do best in a single pet household, however, I've had a cat and a dog in the past who she was ok with after a while. I'm trying to rehome her due to an issue with her due to her having occasional accidents outside her litter box and I'm not in a position where I can deal with it. I would love for her to go to a good home and live out her days peacefully with someone who can care for her. Also have cat supplies including her food and a self-cleaning litter box. I don't need money, just a good home for her.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Nimari Nimari is an approximately 5-year-old Siamese Snowshoe gentleman with a big heart and an even bigger personality. From the moment he arrived, he made himself right at home—quickly becoming friends with both his foster dads’ cats and the other foster kitties. He’s especially bonded with his best buddy, Possum. The two love to wrestle and play (it can get a little noisy!), but it’s all in good fun and full of love. Nimari is just as devoted to his humans as he is to his feline friends. Every morning, he happily hops up onto the desk to say hello, pacing back and forth until he gets the attention he deserves—especially if it comes with a good back scratch (his favorite!). Recently, Nimari reached the sweetest milestone: after being more of a “short visit” kind of cat, he curled up right under his foster dad’s chin one night and stayed there, soaking up all the love. Nimari is looking for a calm, stress-free home where he can truly thrive. He will need a playful male kitty companion close to his age (within about 5 years), as having a buddy is very important to him. If you’re looking for a loving, social, and slightly silly companion who will brighten your days, Nimari might just be your perfect match! If you have room in your home and heart for Nimari, please complete an application today. All MISR cats are neutered or spayed, current on rabies and distemper, and has a current blood panel which is in good standing. H has tested negative for FIV/FELV and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Nimari is $300 and she is being fostered in Novi Michigan.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please inquire about this kitty on our official website:  http://mi-siamese-rescue.rescuegroups.org Our adoption policies and online form are located here: Adoption Information. MISR always accepts donations of lightly used cat carriers, cat trees/towers, and polartec delivery blankets. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Zorro 10-year-old Siamese | Male | Professional Love Bug Zorro is the kind of cat you meet once and immediately think, “Oh… you’re coming home with me.” He’s a confident, outgoing, very chill dude who loves both playtime and downtime — the best of both worlds. Zorro is extremely affectionate. He happily hops into your lap, lets you pick him up and carry him around, and genuinely wants to be where you are. If you’re looking for a cat who actually likes people and shows it, Zorro is your guy. He still has a playful side and enjoys: chasing the laser, hanging out in boxes (classic cat),battling his stuffed chili pepper and attacking the fish-on-a-string with enthusiasm! Despite his playful spirit, Zorro also knows how to relax and just vibe with you. Couch companion? ✔️  Lap warmer? ✔️ Loyal sidekick? ✔️ Zorro takes one pill a day, and honestly — he’s a rockstar about it. He opens wide, swallows it easily, and goes right back to being his loving self. No drama, no stress. He’s kid-friendly, gentle, and tolerant, making him a great fit for families.
