Story
Hi there, my name is Poppy. I am a very sweet and laidback kitty that would love nothing more than a warm lap, good food and the love of a forever family. I hope you like talkative cats! I live up to my Siamese stereotype, I love to chat and tell you what I am doing or what's on my mind! I'm looking for a lowkey household without any young kids, dogs, or other cats so I can be your main focus. Trust me, I have lots of personality and spunk to keep you fulfilled and having fun! Adopting a senior cat like me would be a perfect fit for families that enjoy a more relaxed household. With a senior cat, what you see is, for the most part, what you get when it comes to temperament and personality!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Cici was born on April 1, 2019 (four-years-old) and is a Siamese Lynx Point.  She has beautiful blue eyes and is friendly but a little skittish. She is front-paw declawed.  CIci is overweight and is on weight management food. Cici came to us last year and was adopted right away.  Several unfortunate things happened to her at her first home.  The owner switched to pellet litter which can be very painful for a cat with sensitive paws. Cici didn’t like that. Lastly, Cici had formed an attachment with the lady of the house and when the lady had to leave the home to care for a relative, Cici was not happy with the man of the house. After observing Cici's behavior for a while, we have decided she will do best without any other pets in the home and no children.  She needs a quiet environment.Cici is in her new foster home where things are more to her liking. She has normal litter box habits and she is feeling better. . Cici has made herself at home and enjoys being petted, brushed, and getting tummy rubs.  All MISR cats are FIV/FELV tested and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Cici is $200 and she is located in a foster home in Howell, MI.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please inquire about this kitty on our official website:  http://mi-siamese-rescue.rescuegroups.org Our adoption policies and online form are located here: Adoption Information. MISR always accepts donations of lightly used cat carriers, cat trees/towers, and polartec delivery blankets. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Kizzi was born on August 30 2019.  She is a Seal Point Siamese and came into MISR several months ago.  She was a little shy when she arrived but has made progress in getting more comfortable in her foster home.   She enjoys playing on the cat tree and belly rubs.  She also enjoys playing with the feather-on-a-stick toy, especially in the evenings.  Her foster parents believe that she would be happiest in a quiet home with no small children.  Kizzi also needs to be an only cat.   Her foster dad suggested that she may be most comfortable in a very small house or apartment where she will not be able to avoid bonding with her people. The more time Kizzi has to spend with her people, the faster she will feel comfortable with them.    She has never fought or hissed at her foster dad when going to the vet.  He does recommend getting her in the carrier on the first try.  Once she is alerted to a possible trip to the vet, it may be hard to contain her.   Kizzi has been FIV/FELV tested, is current on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed.  She is located in a foster home in Novi, MI and her adoption fee is $200,      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Lewis is a Siamese Snowshoe born on 10/21/22 and he is quite the character. Understandable as he is just over a year old. He gets along with most other cats but his roughhouse can be, well, rough.  He plays a lot with the seven-month-old kitten and often pins her down which causes her to complain very loudly as she is somewhat of a drama-queen. When Lewis first came here. he was sequestered, like all new arrivals. He ate plenty of canned food as well as dry food, but, since his integration into the household he does not eat canned food as often. He has boundless energy, but also enjoys lounging about. He may seem skittish when foster dad approaches, but more often just enjoys being petted.  He will respond tp foster aunt when she calls him but not foster dad. Lewis might do well in a family that has older children, or, He might be okay with a dog.  Neither of these situations are certain but foster dad thinks either one is a possibility. Lewis is in a foster home in Novi and his adoption fee is $200.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
Cali is approx 12 year old. She’s my first love that I’ve had since 2012. She’s a big cuddle bug once she warms up to you. She loves sun bathing, scratches behind her ear, under her chin, and belly rubs if she opens it to you. When she sleeps on you, it’s easy to trim her nails. She gives sweet kisses in the process and a small warning nip if she wants you to stop for a bit. She LOVES playing with catnip infused mousies and loves deli meat as a special treat. She’s vocal first thing in the morning and late at night but stops meowing if you call out her name and tell her to stop. She likes a clean litter box and will start peeing outside it if it is not maintained. Scooping once a day or every other is important. She is not picky on brand. She’s not adapting well to our other cats. We have tried for months but the others bully her because she is timid and small. She would do well as single cat to a senior needing a companion. So has so much love to give and is a great lap kitty.

Story
Sophie~born~September 2018Special BreedSophie and Charlie come as a package and are in need of a new home that will want both of these Siamese beauties. Their owner has become severely allergic. Sophie is a Blue Point Siamese with Snow Shoes. She is very shy and easily frightened at first, until she gets to know you and her surroundings, then she is very affectionate. So it is best to let her warm up at her own pace. She will follow you around the house and sit close to wherever you are. She is also very social with house guests once she is comfortable in her surroundings. She doesn't need a lot of attention and will let you know when she does. She responds to sweet talk and good girl affirmations. She and Charlie both love to be brushed._____The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, FELUK/FIV combo test, spay/neuter, and microchip!
