Story
Sansa is very fearful of people but can bond very well with someone with some time. She`s tolerant of other cats, she could live with other cats or as an only cat in her barn home. She does need someone who can take special care of her due to her medical history, so she`s looking for a special barn adoption. Some cats who end up at HSHV cannot adapt to indoor living. They may be feral (i.e., born and raised in the wild), or under-socialized and prefer little to no human contact. Whatever the reason, we still believe these cats deserve a happy life and that they can be placed with families who value them as much as we do. Adopting a barn cat can be a mutually beneficial relationship – you will be saving the life of a healthy cat, while they will help scare off small, pesky rodents! To people who qualify, barn cat adoption is FREE.

Story
Hi. This is Lacey. She is a Siamese cat that is 17 years old and I've owned her for 16 years. She is a very sweet cat and loves her kids. The only health issue she has is some kidney disease which has just been increasing her water and changing her food. I believe she is microchipped and she is front declawed. She would probably do best in a single pet household, however, I've had a cat and a dog in the past who she was ok with after a while. I'm trying to rehome her due to an issue with her due to her having occasional accidents outside her litter box and I'm not in a position where I can deal with it. I would love for her to go to a good home and live out her days peacefully with someone who can care for her. Also have cat supplies including her food and a self-cleaning litter box. I don't need money, just a good home for her.

Story
💙 Meet Mochi – A Survivor Ready for His Forever Home 💙 Mochi, a stunning Flame Point Siamese, has been through more than any cat should ever have to endure. He was found in heartbreaking condition after being left behind at an apartment complex in Ann Arbor by a tenant. Despite everything, he never gave up. Every day, Mochi patiently waited outside the apartment door of a kind woman who also volunteers with us and also lives in that complex, hoping someone would finally notice him. Thankfully, she opened not only her door but also her heart, taking him off the street and into her home as a foster where he finally had the chance to heal and experience the care he had been missing. Now, after receiving all of his veterinary care, Mochi is healthy, fully vetted, and ready to find a loving forever home. Mochi is affectionate, intelligent, and has all the charming Siamese personality traits. He appears to enjoy the company of other cats, but we believe he'd do best in a home without dogs or young children. If you or someone you know is looking for a loyal, loving companion, please consider giving Mochi the happy life he's waited so patiently for. To inquire about adopting Mochi, please contact us at BloomfieldKittyRescue@gmail.com. Please share to help Mochi find the forever family he deserves. ❤️🐾

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Possum is a stunning 2½-year-old Blue Point Snowshoe Siamese with striking blue eyes, a playful spirit, and a sweet personality that shines once he feels at home. This handsome boy is still very much a teenager at heart! He loves chasing, wrestling, and playing with his feline foster brothers, but he also enjoys having his own quiet space to relax and recharge. Possum has the perfect blend of playful energy and independent charm. While Possum likes to take his time getting to know new people, he's been showing us just how brave and social he can be. At a recent adoption event, he happily greeted visitors, accepted pets, and proved that he's not the shy hider we once thought he might be. Once he's comfortable, Possum absolutely melts for back scratches, belly rubs, and spending time near his favorite humans. Possum would thrive in a home with another young, playful cat who can keep up with his energetic antics. In his previous home, he spent a lot of time alone, so he's hoping to find a family that can give him the companionship, attention, and love he deserves. Could Possum be your new best friend? If you have room in your heart and home for this handsome, playful boy, we'd love to hear from you! ✅ Neutered ✅ FIV/FeLV negative ✅ Current on rabies and distemper vaccines ✅ Microchipped ✅ Current blood panel with healthy results ✅ All known health concerns addressed Adoption Fee: $300 Fostered in Novi, Michigan Apply today and give Possum the forever home he's been waiting for! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bandit & Rascal ❤️ Bandit and Rascal are a bonded pair looking for their forever home together! They are both Siamese kitties estimated to be born on 10/25/2025. These handsome boys came to MISR as strays, likely from the same cat community/home. While they may not be biological brothers, their bond is undeniable—they play together, nap together, and truly adore each other. Bandit is the sweet, slightly grumbly gentleman of the duo. He may voice his opinions about other cats in his foster home and occasionally toss out a half-hearted swat, but it never goes beyond that. Underneath the grumbles is a loving boy who absolutely adores people—especially when 'butt scratches' are involved! While not quite as chatty as Rascal, Bandit enjoys carrying on conversations with his humans and is always happy to receive affection. Rascal is the outgoing social butterfly. He enjoys the company of other cats and has a larger-than-life personality. Although neither boy spends much time with the other cats in their foster home, they treat each other like true brothers and can often be found wrestling and playing together. Rascal is wonderfully vocal and has recently discovered that wrapping himself around his foster's feet is an excellent way to demand attention—making him an adorable (and very effective!) little trip hazard. He also has a great appreciation for canned food, unlike Bandit, who could take it or leave it. Both boys are microchipped, neutered, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccinations, and have current bloodwork in good standing. They have tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and all known health concerns have been addressed. If you have room in your home and heart for this lovable pair, please complete an application today. The adoption fee for Bandit and Rascal is $500 for the pair, and they are currently being fostered in Novi, Michigan. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Twila is a full-grown adult and is not interested in kitten antics, thank you.  Twila is similarly uninterested in outside.  She had her paws full when she was dumped in the country and survived for more than three full years on her own.  The tips of her ears are frostbitten off from cold winters and her teeth show wear and tear from years of eating what she could find.  Twila struggled big time, having multiple litters of babies and trying to keep them alive.   In her foster home, she has soft beds to sleep on, dinner is prepared for her, and fresh water magically appears in her bowl, so there is no need for outside.   Twila loves being brushed and pet.  She will be awake in the evening for her daily interactions.  Otherwise, she'll spend most of her time curled up in a comfy nook.  She will come to sit with you and watch TV or curl up near you in bed. Twila is estimated by our vet at 6 years old.  She doesn't have energy for zoomies, but sometimes she will deign to bat at some yarn. This battle-hardened warrior is ready for retirement.  She doesn't like dogs and she doesn't really like other cats, either.  She'd prefer to be a spoiled, solo kitty.  She doesn't have any problems with humans as long as her requirements for rest, food, water, and adoration are fulfilled.  If you're a night owl looking for a chill companion, Twila is your girl.   Twila is a kitty where you have to earn her respect, but once you do, she will be your beautiful, devoted, haughty and somewhat judgmental companion for the rest of her life. Twila is: microchipped spayed FIV/FELV negative up to date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations dewormed Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $15.00/Lifetime registration fee in addition to the adoption fee. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 23, 2026, 8:46 pm
