With patience and kindness, she blossoms—seeking out affection on her own terms and happily settling into your lap for as long as you’re willing to keep petting her. Ezzie is becoming more playful as she grows comfortable in her foster home. She enjoys gentle, engaging toys—especially wand toys and fishing-pole style toys that let her interact without feeling overwhelmed. Snowball came to us as a surrender when his owner moved and he couldn't go along. Born October 2024, Snowball is a sweet affectionate boy who gets along with other cats but also would be ok if he was the only animal in the house. Snowball would dearly love the opportunity to go Home for the Holidays. All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
