Warrior was brought to a New York shelter by the police department along with 4 or 5 other cats after his owner passed away. We unfortunately don't even know Warrior's original name - all of the cats were named after basketball teams by the shelter staff. Journeys stepped in to help Warrior find a new home since the New York shelter was not an environment that would help him come out of his shell. We don't know what kind of home Warrior lived in before he was taken to the shelter, but we would venture to guess he was living with an older individual who did not spend much time with the cats. Poor Warrior continues to be terrified of people. He is hoping to find a foster home (possibly a foster to adopt home) that will be able to spend a lot of time helping him learn to trust people. He does seem to be great with other cats and having some friendly cats in a home could be a very good environment for him. Despite being extremely scared, he has always used his litterbox faithfully. Meet Riggs, a cat who is every bit as charming as he is handsome!This stunning Lynx Point Siamese boy is about a year old and has already won the hearts of everyone at the shelter. Riggs came to us as a stray, and honestly, we`re still scratching our heads wondering how no one came looking for him. He`s friendly, affectionate, and loves being around people.Riggs isn`t a fan of being confined, which he made very clear when he managed to escape from his intake enclosure. Fortunately, his adventure was short-lived. Meet Panda Express! Panda Express is a 4-year-old Siamese beauty with a silly and loving personality. When she isn't perched in a cat tree supervising the house, she's busy rolling around for attention and making sure everyone knows she would like a few extra pets. Panda Express does well with both cats and dogs, though she appreciates proper introductions before declaring you a friend. Once she's comfortable, she's happy to share her space with other animals and even currently hangs out with a giant Great Dane without a second thought. Azul is a stud muffin of a big boy cat. We don’t know what is bigger – his beautiful blue eyes or his enormous round head. We estimate him to weigh around 15 lbs and believe he is around 5-6 years old. Azul was found roaming a neighborhood along the Texas Mexico border, where a good Samaritan saw him and knew she had to help him. He was super scrawny, covered in fleas, tons of missing hair and scabs all over his body. After about 6 weeks, Azul is fully healed, all of his hair has grown back, and he is ready for his forever home. Despite his age, he is very playful and active. He loves to be around people and loves to play with his toys. Cuddling is one of his favorite things. Azul is in a foster home where he is around other cats and dogs. Even though he is big, he gets along wonderfully with other cats! He has met dogs in the current foster home and has no issues with them. He can live happily with other dogs and cats in the home! Azul would love to be a lap cat and be loved every day and all day. He does NOT mark. Azul is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and given a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption/transport.
