Mieko is a beautiful flame point girl!  I do call her Mieko the meek! She is gentle and laid back! She tolerates being picked up and is enjoys pets on her terms. She is on the shier side and would need time to warm up to a new place and new people.  Mieko is vocal (like most Siamese).  She has this cute dainty voice and this priss when she walks.  She is very good with the other foster cats and has learned to be okay with my Husky mix (that took some time). Mieko loves toys and treats! You can definitely win her over with those! She would do best in a quieter home with someone who has had cats before. She would make a great companion for another kitty or do okay as a single kitty. Mieko does not tend to try and assert any domanance over other kitties. Meet Luna Luna is a petite seal point Siamese with the most stunning blue eyes you’ll ever see.  She was found wandering an apartment complex in Houston, bravely approaching a resident’s front door with her last surviving kitten. Out of concern for their safety, Austin Siamese Rescue took her in. Sadly, the kitten did not survive, and Luna arrived understandably guarded and unsure of the world around her. Over time, something special happened. Luna began to trust her foster’s husband—and once she chose him, she really chose him. She follows him from room to room, jumps into his lap for pets, and soaks up every moment of attention she can get. She is now slowly allowing her foster to pet her as well, showing that her trust is slowly growing. Luna will need to be the only pet in a calm, patient home. Her ideal adopter is someone experienced with undersocialized cats—someone who understands that trust is earned, not rushed. Hello!!! My name is Darwin and foster mom says that I am the sweetest senior gentleman she has ever met. As you can see from my photos, I am a handsome Seal Point Siamese. I am friendly, vocal, and love pets, though I am not a fan of being picked up. That's because I am blind and deaf and being taken off solid ground scares me a bit. But don't worry, I can get around with no problem, I just go a bit slower because I have to feel my way.  And once I know the lay of the land, there's no stopping me. Vroom!!! I was found on the streets of Houston, blind and deaf, fending for myself. When I finally got taken to the shelter by a good Samaritan, the shelter only gave me 24 hours before they were going to euthanize me. They thought that no one would want an old, blind, and deaf stray, but they were wrong.  Foster moms Nancy and Kaitlyn thought I deserved a chance at life, so they saved me and brought me to Austin.  I am approximately 12 years old and, aside from being blind and deaf, I am also toothless. But, I don't need any special food or medication. I am just fine and very happy to eat hard kibble. My only special need is that, although I use my litterbox faithfully for pee pee, I often miss with my poop and it ends up right outside the box. But foster mom says it's not hard to clean up because I have Tootsie Roll poop. I know it's a lot to ask, but could you find it in your heart to open your home up to a kitty like me? I know that I have special needs, but I will pay you back with all the unconditional love you can handle. I am worth saving and living a long life to come. Is that with you? ##2532322##
