I'm Weeks… I arrived at Orphan Annie's in June, and you may remember my introduction. The kind ladies who initially rescued me thought I might have suffered an injury and looked for placement with a rescue. Almost immediately upon my arrival, I began being examined by veterinarians and specialists. Even after x-rays, medication, and physical therapy, nobody was any closer to knowing what had happened to me. Was I born this way, or was it some accident? Nothing is clear. The facts are these. My pelvis is not typical and my back "knees" don't bend, so when I sit, my legs extend straight out in front of me, and when I walk, they are slightly bowed. My foster mom tells me I resemble a newborn fawn, all long limbs and careful balance. I've decided to take that as a compliment. I'd kindly ask that you skip the pity. I've never known any other way of being a cat, and I'm not in any pain. I walk, and I can even run when I hear the wet food being cracked open. On carpet, I can just about keep pace with everyone else in the house. On slick floors I sometimes slide a little, which I'm told is quite charming, and I don't see a reason to correct anyone about that. I can't jump, and I'm slower to climb steps, but I arrive eventually. I handle a flight of stairs well, though by evening I'm tired enough that a lift upstairs is welcome. Animals with back or leg issues sometimes have trouble with potty habits. I have no issues with continence whatsoever, and I'm fully litter box trained. One note: I do need a standard box with a low side, since the automatic ones are more than my legs can manage. I'm happy to bring my current box with me. My real talent is biscuit making. It's an official title, and I hold it. I am the chief biscuit maker in my foster house right now. I'm a devoted lap cat, and I'll take being held over nearly anything else. I share a house with five other foster cats, and I'm consistently the cleanest and softest of the group, since the others can't seem to stop grooming and loving on me. I'm more of a quiet observer by nature, but you'll rarely find me off by myself. I'd rather be wherever the people are. I'd also mention the coat: medium-length, exceptionally soft, with lynx point markings. I'm sexy, and I know it. What I'm Looking For: A reader, a gamer, or a self-proclaimed couch potato, ideally. You bring the book, the controller, or the remote, and I'll take the warm spot beside you. I'm well suited to a weekend spent in bed, and I'm content to do nothing at all so long as we're doing it together. A work-from-home household would suit me best, since I love being part of the daily routine. I'd do well as your only cat, or as part of a home with another pet. I just don't want long days or hours spent alone. My needs are modest: a low-sided litter box, and a little help with stairs at night or a step up to your favorite furniture. With those in place, I can live a long and comfortable life, and I'd prefer to spend it with you. The people at my rescue say that cats like me are the reason they do this work. They believe that different doesn't mean less. In my case, I'd argue it means more. If you think you're up to the task, I'll be here, keeping your spot warm. -Weeks

Walden is a gorgeous lynx point Siamese with a face full of sweetness and a personality to match. She's cute and sweet, with just the right amount of spunk. Her favorite things in life? Watching TV (she doesn't care what's on, she's a devoted binger), sitting on the dishwasher while we load the dishes, and burrowing her way into the very center of a warm pile of laundry. Bonus: lynx point markings tend to deepen with age, so she'll likely only get more striking as the years go by. In an ideal world we would send her home as a pair- her best friend Ojo is a total catch and together they are absolute perfection. Please look for her and consider giving them a home together!

Both are calm, friendly cats who enjoy quiet companionship and lounging near people. Generally independent but affectionate on their own terms. Uses the litter box reliably and does well in a predictable, low-stress home. Not overly vocal. Enjoys window watching and short play sessions.

She is a soft ball of love and loyalty. Sweet and loyal. She was a devoted mom before getting fixed. After getting her tail hurt she came to eat like nothing and was very trusting I would take care of her even though she had not seen me in a year. She would purr during bandage changes after the painful part was over. She is a shy personality but a survivor. Good with other easy going cats but very scared of most dogs, cars and probably doors. Will need ongoing dental care. As her life on the street had an impact on her teeth. She just had a dental but will benifit from extra preventive care.Thank you for considering adopting one of our kittens/cats.

Milo is a very friendly cat who loves attention. He enjoys snuggles and being pet and cared for. He’s very social and really good with kids.
