Story
Rain was rescued June 3rd with his 2 siblings, Cookie & Spice. They were just 3 oz. and according to the home owner, they were "washed up in a rain puddle" after a storm. It is a miracle they survived. Rain will steal your heart with his blue eyes and his sweet face. He loves to cuddle and make biscuits. He will do best with kids > 5. He hass been around a small dog and wasn't the biggest fan, but I think with a slow introduction small dogs would be ok. Of course he loves other cats.

Story
Pearl is a beautiful seal lynx point siamese with crystal blue eyes.  She was found abandoned in Houston and rescued by a local family who then contacted Austin Siamese Rescue.  She came to us with her four kittens and was a wonderful mama.  She is currently living in a foster home with other kitties and dogs.  Pearl has lived with her foster family to learn to be a loved family member.  Prior to being rescued, Pearl did not have a good reason to trust people.  She has slowly copied some of her foster siblings to learn to like attention and petting.  She is comfortable with dogs and meets other cats comfortably.  She has made kitty friends in her foster home.  In the past few weeks, she has finally started to approach people for attention and petting, but she can still get anxious. Pearl will be so rewarding to help as she learns more and more to love and trust people.  You can tell she really loves petting and attention but is still anxious.  She will be able to join a home with other pets.  She will need patience to settle into her new home but she will bond closely to a person when she finally has her own family to cuddle and connect with. ##1988082##

Story
Dashi and her daughter Miso II have been surrendered by their owner and are looking for their forever home with a special family.   Dashi is a 4 year old Lynx Point Siamese that had a rough start in life. She was abandoned to survive the outdoors while pregnant. She became a part of the ASR family shortly before giving birth in 2021 to 4 beautiful kitties. She was the greatest Mom to those kitties her fosters had ever seen and even took in two orphaned kittens who were looking for a Mom.    Dashi can take a little time to trust but once she has warmed up to her new enviroment, she is a real gem. Sweet and affectionate, she seeks pets and belly rubs from her humans and loves to snuggle up at bedtime. She is not a lap cat but is very loving. She tolerates children but would do better with older children and adults.    Dashi is FIV positive and FIV-positive housecats rarely show any symptoms of the disease and usually live long, happy lives. FIV is not spread by casual contact. There is no medication or special treatment needed FIV positive kitties.  ##1967222##

Story
Nils was found dumped in a cat colony in Houston. The colony feeder found him to be super sweet, knew he didn't belong outside and brought him into her home. Unfortunately, this sweet guy came to us because his foster unexpectedly passed away. Nils starts off a little cautious. He warms up quickly when he realizes he is safe, and he is super loving. He adores pets and attention and has the best purr. He likes to rub up on you and then fall over to be right beside you so you can continue the pets, and he’s likely to be wherever you are. He doesn't mind being picked up or carried around, and he loves a lap and making biscuits, although he’s a bit too long to fit easily. He is almost always ready to play and will ask you to get out his Birdie. He’s a happy-go-lucky fellow who enjoys life tremendously. Nils is very people-centered and does not want to share you with another cat. He’s a confident guy and might do well with a dog. ##1968390##

Story
As a courtesy listing, Austin Siamese Rescue is not associated with this listing other than providing an avenue to assist cat owners/rescuers in finding loving, responsible homes for their pets.  Please contact the caretaker/foster directly:  savvasbecky@sbcglobal.net Meet Gino--Currently residing in Del Valle Sadly, I think it may be best to rehome Gino. My daughter and I combined households and cats, and he is not happy. It’s been since last August, I’ve tried everything. He is an indoor only cat, and will be 13 this year. He needs to be an only pet, and best to have only older children. He is not a lap cat, but will lay next to you. He loves one on one attention, and grooming. I have always kept him on prescription Hills Science Diet Calming formula to prevent urinary problems as male cats are prone to. I give a little Blue Buffalo Wilderness Adult chicken wet food once a day. I have always used world’s best cat litter (it lasts forever when scooped frequently!).I have had him since he was a kitten, I want him to live the rest of his life in peace. $25 rehoming fee. In Del Valle, Travis County. ***5/24 update: some time after this post he starting to pee inappropriately, but also still in litter box. He’s had a full check up with labs. He looks actually pretty good overall. He does have some protein in his urine, a once a day med will prevent any further kidney damage. His blood pressure is good, his teeth look good (greenie dental treats)etc. I am giving him that pill with a behavioral pill in a greenie pill pocket. The marking/peeing seems to have stopped. He never stopped using the litter box, peed in it always too.I feel he could still thrive in a quiet home as a solo cat.  Austin Siamese Rescue assumes no responsibility for the veracity of the listing or the conduct of the caretaker in the listing. ##2063587##

Story
I am a gorgeous snowshoe girl who is quite shy.  Foster mom doesn't think I am feral, just very wary.  You see, I       saw my mother get taken by a coyote and it really scared me and made me afraid of anyone ot anything!I would be best for someone who has a lot of patience and lets me slowly chill out.  I would do well with another outgoing, loving kitty who could show me what is great about being loved! **  Only available to experienced adopters who will have a lot of patience.** ##1968484##
