Story
Loki is a shy, gentle boy who needs time and patience to adjust to new environments. Once he feels safe, he has the potential to become a truly wonderful companion. He’s still figuring out the world, so his behavior around small children, other cats, and dogs is unknown.Because of this, slow, careful introductions to any other pets are a must. Loki will thrive in a calm, understanding home that can give him the space and reassurance he needs while he builds confidence at his own pace.If you’re looking for a quiet, sweet cat who just needs a little extra time to show his heart, Loki may be the perfect match.

Story
We adopted her from San Diego La Jolla Lounge 2020 and was told she's a under 6-mo age. later brought her to vet ourselves and found out she's about 2-3 years old because of her teeth situation. she had the bad teeth extraction exam. later she moved with us to Seattle in 2022. She has been doing great. She's around ~7.5 lb now.

Story
***NOTE: This pet is currently at the shelter in Republic, WA, and can be delivered to an approved adopter on our 8/8/26 adopted pet transport to Monroe, WA to begin a 30-day trial placement – part of our distance adoption program.*** Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Introducing Honey! Are you looking for a roommate who respects your personal space, doesn't leave dishes in the sink, and enjoys quiet, contemplative gaze-out-the-window sessions? Honey is accepting applications for her new staff—err, forever family! Honey is a lovely, low-maintenance queen who has mastered the art of the chill. Her daily schedule is packed with very important activities: sleeping, lounging, and securing prime real estate with the best view in the house. Now, let’s talk affection. Honey does enjoy pets, but she operates on a strict, pre-approved quota. Part of your job description will be learning her body language—because when she’s reached her limit, she will gently let you know that visiting hours are over. Think of it as a fun, daily game of “Guess the Pet Threshold!” Honey is open to sharing her castle with other pets, provided they strictly honor her personal bubble (social distancing is her specialty). If you want a quiet, beautiful, and delightfully independent companion who brings endless cozy vibes—and a dash of dramatic flair—Honey is ready for you! All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Honey is a suggested minimum of $60 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Story
LOCATION: Foster CareSummer is a beautiful cat who loves quiet time and relaxing in a slow-paced environment. She requires some time to warm up, but given the right TLC, her personality will flourish. Building a relationship with Summer will require a lot of patience and trust. She requires a slow approach and would do best with someone who is an experienced cat owner. Summer would do best in a household with no other animals or small children. The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
Uzi is a high energy very fun and very sweet boy. He loves to wrestle and play and run around. He tends to act like a shadow and makes sure you’re not alone whatever you happen to be doing. He just turned 3 this June. Due to unforeseen circumstances I’ve had to move and can no longer house him. It’s important to note that he does have a tendency to spray on a somewhat regular basis at least once weekly, he also gets stressed out when his environment is cluttered. Despite that he is wonderful housemate just a little extra messy. Please reach out with any questions.
