Story
Hello! My name is Link, the chosen one of Hylia, and dubbed a "Chaos Gremlin" by my human. (Whatever that means). Unfortunately I got real sick and she got real sick and now she can't give me the attention I need, and I need ALOT. Running everywhere is the best you know. I'll let her explain from here. Thank you. Link has a condition called PICA. It is an eating disorder where he is inclined to eat anything. His case is mild but all string like anything needs to be put away and hidden at all times. He also has IBD, a digestive disorder. His symptoms clear completely with a raw diet but I understand that is not always feasible. Absolutely NO kibble however. He is Herpes positive and that is controlled easily with Lysine. Finally, his rambunctiousness got the better of him. He had a back injury some time ago that is still bugging him. Chiropractic and acupuncture were working wonders, I simply ran out of money. He is very loving but cannot be alone. Even another kitty will be fine.

Story
Hello, potential forever family! I'm Rancy, the enchanting Siamese mix with light blue eyes that are sure to captivate your heart. Despite the lack of a fancy pedigree, my heart is brimming with love, and I'm on a journey to find a new home through no fault of my own.My story began in June 2017 when I was a tiny kitten exploring the world. Life took an unexpected turn, and now I'm seeking a home because my previous owner had to embark on a traveling work adventure, leaving me in search of a new haven. I'm a genuine sweetheart deserving of all the love and attention a cat like me craves. Brushing sessions and lounging in a sunlit windowsill are my favorite indulgences. Now, when it comes to new faces, I might play the shy card initially. Being a former stray can do that to a girl. But worry not, once I'm familiar with you, I'm all about the head scratches and neck rubs. Attention is my forte, and I flaunt it proudly. On the flip side, I'm also an independent lady who values her alone time; a girl needs her space, after all. While I haven't had the chance to interact with small children, I'm confident I'd thrive best in a home with adults and older kids who understand my boundaries. Oh, and speaking of boundaries, I've been around other fur babies and, though a bit shy at first, I adapt quickly. In case you're wondering about my health, rest assured, I'm spayed and up to date on all my vaccines. I'm currently located at the rescue, eagerly awaiting the opportunity to meet you and potentially become a cherished member of your family. Ready to make me a part of your home and create some purr-fect memories together? Let's arrange a meeting and see if we're a match made in cat heaven!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.March 27, 2024, 10:51 am
