Luckily, K-9 Lifesavers stepped in and rescued this deserving pair before it was too late. Having lived in a home with a family, they are a bit unsure of their situation right now, and are hoping to find a home where they can feel safe, secure and loved. We would love to see them adopted together as they love each other! If they cannot be, Snowball would do best in a home with another confident dog. Snowball has a friendly nature and gets along great with children and other dogs and cats, plus she is housebroken. Snowball is ready to share her love with a forever family who will cherish her unconditionally. Could it be yours? Submit an application today and give Snowball a second chance to have the loving home of her dreams!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Meet Bruno, our delightful 3.5-year-old friend who came to us as a stray. This charming 103-pound bundle of joy is on the lookout for a loving home, especially with folks who have experience with large dogs. It was clear from the get-go that this handsome guy was a great walking on a leash. Bruno has started some training here and will need a refresher once in the home! Bruno has already made some human pals during his time here, and it’s easy to see why—just check out his beautiful auburn coat! While he’s met a few doggy friends and seemed pretty indifferent, he definitely wants to say hello to his future roommates before heading home with you.We haven`t had a chance to see how he interacts with cats, as he hasn`t met any yet, but when it comes to kids, we recommend a home with children aged 12 and up since Bruno has a few quirks about sharing his toys.If you’ve fallen for this striking red-head like so many others, don’t hesitate! Give us a call today at 410-827-7178 or swing by during our open hours! We can’t wait to see Bruno find his forever home!
