Story
Freddy has a very interesting story! He was a local stray that was running for weeks. Many people tried to catch him but he was very scared. Eventually Freddy was secured and brought to a local Humane Society. He was extremely underweight and had very sore paws from running for so long. He was never claimed which means he was most likely dumped to fend for himself. Freddy was transferred to us because he needed further evaluation and training. In a short period of time, we have seen Freddy evolve. He is learning to walk on a leash. He is very smart and knows sit and paw already! Freddy is extremely food motivated. He is strong and working on his leash manners. Freddy has extreme fear with strangers, especially tall men. He is looking for a teen or older family that will work on building his confidence. Freddy requires slow introductions to new people, therefore he would do best in a house with not too many visitors. Freddy is being evaluated with dogs and seems to do well with female dogs and also some male dogs that are calm and social.

Hi, I`m Penny! I love cuddles and being around friends, especially my bestie, Piper. The staff are sure that I am Piper`s Mom and we have stayed together even while homeless as we are unclaimed strays. We`ve been through so much together! I`m known for my sweet nature and loyalty. I dream of a home where Piper and I can share endless love and cuddles with our forever family. Adopting us means double the joy and faithful friendship!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: Yes, I love everyone!CATS: Cats are interesting. With a slow introduction, it might be okay. OTHER DOGS: I get along well with other dogs.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: Experience with large dog breeds is recommended but not required.FENCED-IN YARD: A fenced in area would benefit me to roam around. I enjoy lounging outside on nice days. HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: I would do well in a busy or quiet household.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: I would do okay being left alone for 8 hours/regular work shift.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME....ACTIVITY LEVEL: Low to MediumHOUSE-TRAINED: Yes!BIRTH DATE: Unknown - Estimated 2021/2022
