Story
Freddy has a very interesting story! He was a local stray that was running for weeks. Many people tried to catch him but he was very scared. Eventually Freddy was secured and brought to a local Humane Society. He was extremely underweight and had very sore paws from running for so long. He was never claimed which means he was most likely dumped to fend for himself. Freddy was transferred to us because he needed further evaluation and training. In a short period of time, we have seen Freddy evolve. He is learning to walk on a leash. He is very smart and knows sit and paw already! Freddy is extremely food motivated. He is strong and working on his leash manners. Freddy has extreme fear with strangers, especially tall men. He is looking for a teen or older family that will work on building his confidence. Freddy requires slow introductions to new people, therefore he would do best in a house with not too many visitors. Freddy is being evaluated with dogs and seems to do well with female dogs and also some male dogs that are calm and social.

Story
Odin is a colossal cuddle monster that never misses out on snuggle session. This senior gentleman is searching for the right family that has lots of time to spend with him. He enjoys showing off his skills at shake a paw, sit, lay down and stay. He enjoys going for leisurely walks and does very well on leash. Odin would like to spend his golden years as the only pet in the home as he is selective with certain dogs and does not like cats. So if you have a big enough couch to fit this old boy and lots of love to give, give us a call to set up an appointment to meet him.Odin is currently hanging out at one of our fosters until adopted.

Story
Anna is a lovely girl who is approximately 11 years old and 65 pounds.  Sadly, her owner had to move where no dogs were allowed.  Times are tough for many people these days especially when it comes to finding affordable housing.   Anna has some health issues that include osteoporosis (back legs, wrists and hips) and hip dysplasia. she has been to our vet and had ex-rays done top to bottom.  She is now on pain meds and Librela shots once a month to help with pain.  She can do stairs and loves to cruise around the foster parent's yard checking out the sights and smells - oh, and barking at people and dogs going by.   Anna also has anxiety challenges when left alone. She barks and paces but does eventually settles (now she is doing better with some meds for anxiety).  Unfortunately, she doesn't walk on a leash and panics if offered a walk (even on a very quiet street) due to living in the country her whole life with access to several acres. She is easy to live with and easy to love, quiet in the house, great with other dogs, housetrained and affectionate.  Has shown no aggression with people, kids or dogs.  Not sure about cats but she is a kind dog overall  Needs an adopter with a house and fenced yard, who has lots of love to share with Hannah AnnaMay 16, 2024, 6:45 am

Story
Hello there, I'm GEORGE!💚🐾 I'm a puppy, a real sweet, friendly, curious, goofy, brave, smart, and energetic one. My tale is one for the books! You see, I ended up at the shelter due to a comedic twist of fate. I was chasing my tail, as pups do, when I got myself hilariously tangled in a garden hose. A kind soul untangled me and brought me here. I've been having fun, but I'm ready for my forever home. I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and endless tail-chasing adventures. Adopt me and let's write our story together! If you are interested in me, please email orangeville@ontariospca.ca and include your phone number so we can better contact you.I can't wait to come home to you! 💖- George 💚🐾 Primary Color: Fawn Secondary Color: White Weight: 38.6 Age: 1yrs 0mths 1wks
