Bella loves to love. She has a heart of gold. Unfortunately our family schedules have changed significantly and it feels unfair to leave her home by herself so much. She sleeps in her crate through the night and is very playful. Loves every dog she sees and loves to play with the kids. Follows basic commands. She is on the smaller end of medium currently 27 lbs. She does have Addisons disease. Serious adopters please research. She has been in perfect health and happy since starting her monthly injections (Zycortal) $43/mo and her daily steroid ~$30 for a 2 month supply. She is expected to live a normal and happy life. She is the sweetest girl and deserves the sweetest home

According to his DNA test, this cool dude is Enzo, a Shepadoodle mix. He was born in January, 2021. He weighs about 45 pounds. He has a fun, funky, curly mohawk down his back. Enzo knows: Sit, down, heel, right & left turn, down at a distance, 'go to your crate', and other commands. He waits and makes eye contact for treats and his dinner. He knows tricks, too. He did very well in an Intro to Nosework class. Enzo is house trained and uses the dog door. He is also crate trained. He uses the crate to relax and sleep. Enzo is good with anyone kind and appropriate. The calm kids he's met have been able to give him treats for tricks or pets. On hikes and walks he gets a little shy of people approaching and just prefers some distance. He will get curious and want to sniff if new people direct their attention away from him. Treats are a great icebreaker for him. Enzo is good with other dogs. He loves to play and even shares toys with dogs, initiating tug games with them. Enzo loves fetching rope toys and floppy toys. He loves sharing his toys with his people and will find toys to bring to initiate a game. Enzo is good in the car in a crate and can get excited when he is going somewhere he likes. Enzo is good on leash and can be uncertain sometimes with new situations. A confident dog pal helps him see that it's all ok. Enzo is best on quiet streets and hikes, so being a city dog isn't the life for him. Enzo will thrive in a home that is fair, kind, and keeps him busy so he isn't bored. He is a happy, fun-loving young dog who is up for anything fun and loves to learn. He has a lot of potential as a fun adventuring/sporting companion. We see him living with a young active couple or family who have a yard to play in, can take him for hikes and make him a big part of their lives. Enzo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.

Meet Brioche! This fluffy dog will steal your heart with full body wag-o-matic style. She is initially shy but once she knows you her sweetness shines brightly. She is a Standard Poodle mix and since she is already 15 pounds at 2 months old, we expect Brioche will be a medium to large dog when full grown. When Brioche and her brother Souffle first arrived at the shelter, they were soaked up to their elbows in pee and cowering in fear. Initially she would stick closely to her brother and follow him, to help give her the confidence to come forward. While she is still coming out of her shell, she really shows her “I’m-so-happy-to-see-you” self each time talk to her. She is treat motivated and has learned sit, shake, down, come, go home, and leave it. She is very curious and can be a bit mischievous as she finds the most random things to chew. She also has an entertaining sass to her, like when she gets on the couch and smirks at you right after being told to get down. She also likes to drink out of your water cup and tries to paddle in her water bowl. She has done great with pee pads and we have also started potty training and crate training. She will thrive best with a family who is dedicated to investing the time and energy required to build confidence in a shy, submissive dog, but with her age and her bright playful personality we are confident that with the right family who is committed to the time and effort to keep an active puppy well exercised, socialized, trained, and entertained, she can overcome these traits quickly and be a fantastic family member that will be a joy to see every day.
