According to his DNA test, this cool dude is Enzo, a Shepadoodle mix. He was born in January, 2021. He weighs about 45 pounds. He has a fun, funky, curly mohawk down his back. Enzo knows: Sit, down, heel, right & left turn, down at a distance, 'go to your crate', and other commands. He waits and makes eye contact for treats and his dinner. He knows tricks, too. He did very well in an Intro to Nosework class. Enzo is house trained and uses the dog door. He is also crate trained. He uses the crate to relax and sleep. Enzo is good with anyone kind and appropriate. The calm kids he's met have been able to give him treats for tricks or pets. On hikes and walks he gets a little shy of people approaching and just prefers some distance. He will get curious and want to sniff if new people direct their attention away from him. Treats are a great icebreaker for him. Enzo is good with other dogs. He loves to play and even shares toys with dogs, initiating tug games with them. Enzo loves fetching rope toys and floppy toys. He loves sharing his toys with his people and will find toys to bring to initiate a game. Enzo is good in the car in a crate and can get excited when he is going somewhere he likes. Enzo is good on leash and can be uncertain sometimes with new situations. A confident dog pal helps him see that it's all ok. Enzo is best on quiet streets and hikes, so being a city dog isn't the life for him. Enzo will thrive in a home that is fair, kind, and keeps him busy so he isn't bored. He is a happy, fun-loving young dog who is up for anything fun and loves to learn. He has a lot of potential as a fun adventuring/sporting companion. We see him living with a young active couple or family who have a yard to play in, can take him for hikes and make him a big part of their lives. Enzo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.

No out of state adoptions - Northern California will not be considered - Needs to be local to Orange County only -- NO LA - NO La county - will be accepted. owner surrender due to landlord issues / moving not allowed to have dogs. Boys are 6 months old- supposedly parents are Maltipoo but surely doesn't like it at all -- we think they are mixed with something else we will be doing DNA test to see what mix is - little nervous but overall very sweet boys. Puppy criteria- MUST HAVE another dog in the home between ages of 1-4 years old- under 20 pounds - will not make exceptions -- However if someone is willing to adopt two puppies from our rescue we are totally okay with that. Leeor is a 7-year-old doodle/terrier mix who has been with us since he was a puppy. Leeor was found thru Craigslist. Leeor would do best with an experienced dog owner. Someone who is patient and understanding with anxious/overprotective dogs. He is a sensitive but loyal dog who needs his boundaries respected. In situations where he feels overwhelmed, cornered, or physically intruded upon, he may respond by snapping or biting. He does best with people who can read dog body language and give him space. Highly suggest a child free home. Leeor barks/howls when is left alone as he is very anxious. He loved car rides and is a great dog to walk with. He is up to date on all his vaccines, neutured and is generally healthy.
