Max was a resued dog. He was found wandering the streets in the middle of Huntington Dr. in El Serreno. At the time he was estimated to be 6 years olHe is blind and skittish. I took him in for about 7 years. We do not know how old he is.. we guess about 12–13. He has recent special needs. He no longer sees as well as before. He gets stuck in places and just stands and barks until I come and get him. He cannot always hold his urine and goes on the mats in the bathroom. He used to have food allergies that affected his skin. His diet has changed to higher quality pet food and no people food of any kind. No Skin problems for two years now. He tends to whine and cry in the middle of the night and keeps me up. The lack of sleep has affected my health and that of my spouse. We have been advised to place the dog in a new home. He is kind and lovely but needs to be hugged and picked up in human arms to calm him down at times. No major illnesses that have been identified only old age.
