Story
She is the sweetest girl with such a loving, gentle personality. I originally got her hoping she could grow with me, but with my school and work schedule, I’m not able to give her the time and attention she truly deserves. She’s about 45 lbs, very affectionate, and loves being close to her person. She is fully crate trained and potty trained, which makes her very easy to care for. I’m looking for a home that can give her stability, patience, and plenty of love. She deserves a family who can spend real time with her and let her thrive. This decision is only because of my busy schedule, not because of anything she’s done.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Penny is a sweet, soon-to-be 3-year-old Poodle with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give. She is housetrained and crate-trained. While the crate isn’t her favorite during the day, she will settle once inside and at night, she happily chooses to sleep in her crate with the door left open. Penny is a shy and timid girl who is still building confidence in the big world around her. Everything outside can feel a little overwhelming at first, so walks are currently a learning experience. She can pull on the leash and gets distracted easily, but with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she has great potential to improve. A family willing to continue working on leash manners will help her thrive. This sweet girl is very food motivated. Penny loves her kibble, adores treats, and never turns down a meal. Treats are a great way to earn her trust and help with training! She has recently discovered toys and especially enjoys destroying fluffy ones. Tug toys, stuffed bones, and Kongs keep her happily occupied. She might even become a ball chaser someday…once she figures out how that works! Penny absolutely loves people and other dogs. She may take a moment to warm up to new humans, but once she does, she’s all kisses and cuddles. Other dogs are instant friends & she is very submissive and does wonderfully with canine companions. Penny is a big snuggler who has recently learned how to climb onto furniture and will happily curl up in your lap. She’s also a “big hugger” and is still learning that jumping up for hugs every few minutes isn’t always appropriate, but her intentions are pure love. Penny does experience separation anxiety and can become destructive when left alone, so she will do best in a home that understands her needs and can continue helping her feel safe and secure. Penny is looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the time she needs to build confidence, continue working on basic manners, and show her how wonderful being a dog can be. In return, she’ll give endless affection, loyalty, and the sweetest cuddles you can imagine. Her adoption donation is $260 and includes spay, microchip and age appropriate vaccines.  Please follow the link below to submit an application:  https://bit.ly/3GDeyyo  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 22, 2025, 2:14 pm

Story
Hi, I'm Marley! I'm a 52-lb Poodle and I'm just one year old. My foster calls me "a very sweet and special boy", but all I know is that I'm an adventurous, affectionate, intelligent, energetic, goofy guy who loves run, playing, jumping, and wagging my tail. Like my musician namesake, I have just one question for you: "could you be loved" by me? Will you be my forever family? Favorite Things: Marley loves being outside, whether going on walks or exploring the back yard! His perfect family would be an active one that can take him on long walks, or even on runs. If you want to live a healthy lifestyle, Marley will make sure you get your steps in! Training & Manners: Marley is a clever dog who has all the makings of a gentleman.  He walks well on a leash, loves car rides, and has shown success with his housetraining. He will need a dog-savvy, active family that can handle his high energy and keep working on his basic training. He doesn’t understand his own size and needs work on boundaries. He is also a digger outside. He’s just so curious, and it sometimes gets the best of him. Health & Care: Marley is a healthy boy! He is heartworm negative and up-to-date on vaccinations. He will just need monthly flea and heart preventatives, like any dog. As a Poodle, he will need regular brushing and at-home spa days, with professional groomings about every 6-8 weeks. Other Animals: This playful pooch gets along well with other large, good-natured dogs who can be patient as Marley learns how to have fun. Small dogs would not be suitable due to Marley's size and energy.  Marley can be a bit too much for cats, so a feline-free home would be necessary.  Children: Marley is an active guy who likes to run and jump, so he'd do best in a home with active, sturdy teenagers only. He may knock over small children with his bursts of love and joy. Ideal Home: Marley would do well in an apartment, condo, or single family home: anywhere there's a family that can love him, take care of him and give him plenty of exercise. Overall: Marley will make a wonderful, loving, loyal companion for a family who can train him, raise him, and love him forever.  Do you look at Marley and think, "Is this love"? Then visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption application. If it seems like it could be a good match, his foster family will reach out with more information. His adoption donation is $550. ##2587422##
