Hi, I’m Jeff! I’m a fiveyearold Standard Poodle weighing 68 pounds of personality. I’m a playful, affectionate guy who loves being close to my people, handing out kisses and soaking up attention. I’m looking for a forever home where I can be the center of someone’s world and until then, I’d be a wonderful guest if you’re open to fostering me! Favorite Things: Jeff is a cheese enthusiast and adores spending time with his favorite humans. Toys aren’t his top priority, but he’s goofy, clever and loves to interact; sometimes even playfully mouthing your hand. Training & Manners: Jeff is housetrained when let out regularly and sleeps soundly in a secure area at night. He’s still learning leash skills and polishing basic manners, so a patient adopter who enjoys guiding a smart dog will be a great fit. He rides calmly in the car and his foodmotivation makes training rewarding. Health & Care: Jeff is heartworm positive and had a tumor on his chest that was removed by our veterinary partners. During treatment, he’ll need calm routines and short leash walks. His adoption fee covers the cost of care. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Following his heartworm treatment, he’ll need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. Jeff will need regular brushing and professional grooming to look and feel his best. Other Animals: Jeff bonds deeply with his favorite people so he’ll need to be the only pet in the home. Children: Jeff does not have experience with children at this point Ideal Home: Jeff will do best in a singlefamily home with a secure, fenced yard. He’s happiest with someone who is home more often then not, as he loves companionship and may bark when left alone for long periods. Story
Sebastian is beautiful in stature and heart. It is with tremendous sadness that we have to rehome him as our schedule has overtaken by a parent in a nearby nursing home. The ideal adopter is a family with other pets and kids or kids-at-heart that would love a genuine companion who loves to lean in for pets and chase toys. Born 10/20/2017, he doesn't act his age. He runs like a greyhound. He is not fru-fru; this is a purebred AKC standard poodle sporting dog. He is not neutered and fathered one litter of 5 girls/5 boys that look identical to him. He is very calm, obedience trained and all around the best dog we've ever had. We have been struggling to be home with/for Sebastian who is our only pet. You won't find a better boy anywhere. Note: No adoption fee, but will be very selective in choosing his new home.
