Meet Kelce 🐾Kelce is a truly special girl with the sweetest soul. Though she is both blind and deaf, she doesn’t let that stop her from living a life full of love. She experiences the world through gentle touch, familiar scents, and the comforting presence of her people.Kelce is incredibly affectionate and thrives on closeness. She loves soft blankets, belly rubs, and simply being near someone she trusts. Because she can’t see or hear, she builds deep bonds through routine, patience, and kindness. Once she knows you’re there, her whole body wiggles with pure joy.To keep her beautiful coat healthy and shining, Kelce will need monthly grooming appointments and weekly brushing at home. Regular grooming not only keeps her looking her best, but it also gives her extra bonding time and helps her feel safe and cared for.Kelce may need a little extra understanding, but what she gives in return is unconditional love beyond measure. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200.
