We bought him from Petland and he has been part of our family, but after having our baby we are no longer able to give him the time and attention he deserves.He is playful, used to being around people, and deserves a family that can fully care for him and give him love. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

Story
Lottie is a lovable 4 month old poodle mix. Her mom was a 40lb poodle and we are not sure about the dad.  She is VERY PLAYFUL. Her current foster home has 6 other dogs all sizes and she gets along very well with all of them, loves to run, play and wrestle! GREAT with kids, she has been raised with a very active five year old little boy and she doesn't appear to shed.  When she finally wears out she is a great snuggle buddy. At 4 months old Lottie weighs 22lbs.  She is crate trained, doing great with potty training and loves to play outside. Lottie needs an active family as she has tons of energy and a fenced yard is a must. Lottie will need to return to our vet in Jefferson GA at 6 months of age for spay. Her adoption fee is $350 and includes vaccines, spay and microchip.  Lottie is being fostered in Jefferson GA ##2751413##

Meet Rudy! Rudy is an adorable poodle mix who came to us from a hoarding/backyard breeding situation in South Georgia, along with 6 other dogs. We were told that Rudolph, who was part of the same group we rescued, is his brother and honestly they look so similar - we believe it! Rudy is about a year old and a sweet, sensitive soul.  He's great with all other dogs and cats and crate trained. Rudy is much more reserved than his brother, preferring to watch his friends play while he tries to figure out what it is they are doing. We doubt he had much opportunity to play or even just to enjoy being a playful, loved puppy in his former life. Rudy is looking for an experienced poodle/doodle home with at least one other adult dog and a fenced yard. We also want to mention that while these dogs are poodle/doodle mixes we have no idea how much poodle is actually in them and so we cannot say that they would be allergy friendly.   Interested in adopting?
