Story
Albus Male PoodleDOB: 3/19/21Adoption Fee: $300Albus is a sweet but shy boy that just needs someone to earn his trust, and take him under their wing to show him that a true loving family is out there and that he deserves to live his best life after being taken out of a horrible situation. This boy will need time to get used to you and someone that understands that what he has been through has made him quite scared of the world around around him. He would enjoy someone very loving, and calm to help him open up. Could you be the person to show this boy care? He is waiting for someone to come change his life! Please read the animal bios completely before requesting additional information as we do our best to answer the most frequently ask questions in these bios. In order to adopt one of our animals an application must be submitted and approved. You can find these applications by going to http://humanemorgan.org/index.php?page=adoption ABOUT ADOPTING FROM THE HSMC: The shelter address is 1170 Fairground Rd. Madison, GA 30650. For more information on any of our pets, please feel free to email us at INFO@HUMANEMORGAN.ORG give us a call at 706-343-9977. All dogs are heartworm negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, and microchipped. All cats are current on vaccines/deworming, and microchipped. We are open 12pm-5pm Sunday-Friday and 10 am-5pm on Saturday, we schedule our last adoption at 4pm everyday to allow our staff enough time to feed and walk dogs. We are an animal shelter and therefore are not able to individually potty train our residents. Many adult dogs do arrive “house broken” however due to animal behavior any change in environment will make an emotional impact on the animals and therefore initiate unwanted behaviors during the acclamation period. Please keep this in mind. Puppies do not have the biological maturity to maintain absolute bladder or bowel control and will require a certain degree of potty training and house breaking. Please consider the time and commitment it takes to provide the necessary building blocks for these special babies, prior to submitting your application. If you have any questions please email us at info@humanemorgan.org and provide name of the animal you are interested in, in the subject line. Thank you, HSMC Staff ADOPTION FEES Adoption Fees may change without notice. Story
Mia Mya is a 1 year old, Lagotto Romagnolo. She is house trained, extremely affectionate, and has never met a stranger. No apartments or townhouses for this girl. She needs a home with a fenced backyard and to be with someone who is home most of the time to give her the love and attention she craves. Another playful dog is a plus.   She must be able to sleep in bed with you and curl up on the couch with you. This is not a dog who likes to be away from her person.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          June 8, 2026, 12:32 pm

Story
Meet Oliver! Oliver is one of several poodle mixes we rescued in early April from a hoarding/backyard breeding situation in rural Georgia. All of these guys were filthy, with horribly infected ears and really had no idea how to relax and just be a dog! After several weeks of TLC and mentoring from some of their new dog friends, they are learning just how amazing being part of a loving family can be. Oliver is about 6-7 years old and under 30 lbs. He's great with other dogs of all sizes and even cats. Oliver was definitely one of the more timid of the group, but it didn't take long for him to really warm up to his foster mom - trying to climb into her lap at any opportunity. He's looking for a calmer home with poodle experienced adopters and another confident dog in the home, along with a fenced yard. Oliver does seem to be a little wary of men so he will do best in a home with at least one female for him to bond with while he grows comfortable with any male family members.   Interested in adopting Oliver and showing him all of the amazing things life has to offer? Story
Meet Ava! Ava is a gorgeous poodle mix who came to us from a hoarding/backyard breeding situation in South Georgia, along with 8 other dogs.  Ava is about 5 years old and a sweet, playful girl. She's great with all other dogs and crate trained. Ava hasn't been around cats since we have had her, but several others from the same group are currently fostering with cats and doing great, so it's likely she would too. Ava is looking for an experienced poodle/doodle home with at least one other adult dog and a fenced yard. We also want to mention that while these dogs are poodle/doodle mixes we have no idea how much poodle is actually in them and so we cannot say that they would be allergy friendly.   Interested in adopting? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org PLEASE NOTE: Previous first hand breed experience, another dog in the home, and a fenced yard are strict requirements to adopt ##2708851##
