Story
âï¸ Meet Storm—Your Future Best Friend and Gardening Assistant! With her soft, fluffy black coat, expressive eyes and tiny white chest patch, Storm is impossible to resist—but her wonderful personality is what will truly steal your heart. Storm is the perfect combination of spunk and sweetness. She approaches life with curiosity, enthusiasm and a joyful sense of adventure. Her favorite activities include splashing in water, playing in the dirt and helping with anything happening in the yard. If you enjoy gardening, Storm is ready to become your dedicated assistant—although her ideas about digging and landscaping may be a little different from yours! This playful girl also has a tender side. One of her very best friends is Vader, a handsome black cat, and their adorable friendship shows that love sometimes comes in the most unexpected combinations. If you are also looking for a cat, Storm would be thrilled if her BFF Vader could come home with her! For a family with room in its heart and home for two, Storm and Vader could offer the very best of both worlds: puppy kisses, kitty companionship and twice the love. Storm’s sister has already found her forever home, and now Storm is patiently waiting for someone to see just how special she is. She dreams of a family who will laugh at her silly adventures, embrace the occasional muddy paw print and give her all the love and security she deserves. If your home could use more laughter, sweetness and four-legged help in the garden, Storm may be the perfect girl for you! Apply to adopt Storm—and perhaps her best friend Vader, too— Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Jonesboro, Georgia. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Clayton County Humane Society. Dog adoption fees range from $250 to $400. Each dog receives: Age-appropriate vaccinations Spay or neuter surgery Heartworm testing and treatment, if necessary Deworming Flea prevention A microchip registered to the adopter You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet.
