Story
Theodore “Theo” is a beautiful, loving blue and cream phantom CKC registered Standard Poodle. He is UTD on shots and not fixed. He has sired several beautiful litters and throws a rainbow of colors and patterns. Would make a great stud for someone or is happy to be just a pet, too! He knows basic obedience, is house trained, does well for the vet/groomer, not weird with new people, very sociable, walks well on a leash, also knows how to behave and be off leash, rides well in the car and loves field trips to parks/hike, good with kids. Good with other dogs. He’s a good dog. He sleeps a lot while in the house and just wants to be with you — then enjoys walks and playing in the yard. Call/text (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Story
I got them both when they were 8 weeks old. One blue, Vanessa and one cream, Lana. They are fixed and UTD on shots, know basic obedience(and a couple tricks), are house trained, do well for the vet/groomer, not weird with new people, very sociable, walk well on a leash, also know how to behave and listen off leash, ride well in the car and love field trips to parks/hike, and are good with kids. They are fine around other dogs/dog parks. All in all they’re really good dogs. They sleep a lot while they’re in the house and just want to be with you — then enjoy their walks and playing fetch in the yard. For adoption to the best loving home. Call/text (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Story
Albus Male PoodleDOB: 3/19/21Adoption Fee: $300Albus is a sweet but shy boy that just needs someone to earn his trust, and take him under their wing to show him that a true loving family is out there and that he deserves to live his best life after being taken out of a horrible situation. This boy will need time to get used to you and someone that understands that what he has been through has made him quite scared of the world around around him. He would enjoy someone very loving, and calm to help him open up. Could you be the person to show this boy care? He is waiting for someone to come change his life! Please read the animal bios completely before requesting additional information as we do our best to answer the most frequently ask questions in these bios. In order to adopt one of our animals an application must be submitted and approved. You can find these applications by going to http://humanemorgan.org/index.php?page=adoption ABOUT ADOPTING FROM THE HSMC: The shelter address is 1170 Fairground Rd. Madison, GA 30650. For more information on any of our pets, please feel free to email us at INFO@HUMANEMORGAN.ORG give us a call at 706-343-9977. All dogs are heartworm negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, and microchipped. All cats are current on vaccines/deworming, and microchipped. We are open 12pm-5pm Sunday-Friday and 10 am-5pm on Saturday, we schedule our last adoption at 4pm everyday to allow our staff enough time to feed and walk dogs. We are an animal shelter and therefore are not able to individually potty train our residents. Many adult dogs do arrive “house broken” however due to animal behavior any change in environment will make an emotional impact on the animals and therefore initiate unwanted behaviors during the acclamation period. Please keep this in mind. Puppies do not have the biological maturity to maintain absolute bladder or bowel control and will require a certain degree of potty training and house breaking. Please consider the time and commitment it takes to provide the necessary building blocks for these special babies, prior to submitting your application. If you have any questions please email us at info@humanemorgan.org and provide name of the animal you are interested in, in the subject line. Thank you, HSMC Staff ADOPTION FEES Adoption Fees may change without notice. Story
Meet Asher! Asher is an approximately 1-year-old parti Standard Poodle, about 45 lbs, and still very much a puppy! He’s friendly, affectionate, and full of playful energy—he just needs a little help remembering not to give enthusiastic “poodle hugs.” He’s housetrained, crate trained, and settles well in his crate, where he sleeps through the night. Asher loves to chew (durable toys only!) and enjoys puzzle feeders and enrichment. He gets along well with dogs his size and energy level. Asher is an active dog who needs a fenced yard, daily exercise, and plenty of mental stimulation. He’s not a couch potato and would thrive with an active family or in dog sports like agility or nosework. If he’s your only dog, he’ll need consistent activity and engagement. Because of his puppy energy, no small dogs or children under 10. He’s smart, eager to learn, and responds well to positive reinforcement—he already knows “sit” and “shake”! Asher will require professional grooming every 6–7 weeks, and his adopters should be prepared for that commitment. He’s continuing to work on leash skills and will benefit from ongoing training. Atlanta-area adopters only (home visit required).
