Story
Snoopy is an adorable Poodle who is only slightly over a year old with a spunky personality and the cutest wavy curls you will ever see! He is neutered and microchipped. He was only brought to our rescue due to being in a family with only older dogs who did not want to play. He is a ball of fun all of the time and the family did not want him to get hurt simply for wanting to play with the other siblings who were being aggressive towards him! We have seen no aggression at all with him and he is just an all around good boy! He is a fetch master and loves any toy that he can find! He is good with all other animals as well as children especially! He is up to date on all vetting and is available now, and we are accepting applications for his adoption on our website Richardsonrescue.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 28, 2025, 10:16 am

Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home.  Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR.  We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone.  Our job is to find those someone's.  Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog.  They come to us because they want to give a dog a home.  We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture.  While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face.  Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home.  We want to create furever families.  Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today.  We'll update as more information is known.  Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days?  If so please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and complete the application.  You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side.  You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available.  Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes?  Please drop a note to applications@carolinapoodlerescue.org with your name, address and phone # and email.  We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team   Date into Rescue:  12/2/25 Reason for being in rescue: Owner Release Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Honey of Earl is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Honey is a labradoodle. We does shed. We cannot guarantee that she is hypoallergenic. Weight:73 lbs Height: 24in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $699 Fence needed? Yes, Honey requires a physically fenced yard with fencing 4 feet or taller. What kind of home would be best for me? Home life is still new to Honey, and she will need time, patience, and guidance as she learns routines, house manners, and expectations. She will benefit greatly from consistent, positive training and a family willing to help her navigate this new chapter with kindness and structure. Because Honey is energetic and enthusiastic, she would do best in a home with older children who can match her size and confidence. Her joyful, bouncy nature may be a bit much for very young kids, as she could accidentally knock them over during play. What is my personality like? Honey arrived in rescue after her human mother died. Honey is a strong, confident girl with a steady presence and a heart that’s ready to connect. She has raised puppies before and knows how to communicate clearly with other dogs, setting respectful boundaries without being reactive or unkind. Honey carries herself with natural leadership and a calm assurance that makes her easy to trust. Honey is a 3-year-old Lab–Poodle mix who truly enjoys being outdoors. Having spent much of her life outside, she’s happiest when she has room to move, explore, and breathe in the fresh air. She would love an active lifestyle filled with walks, hikes, and everyday adventures alongside her people. Honey is ready for a life where she can be both guided and loved - where her confidence is respected and her heart has room to open fully. With the right home, she has everything it takes to become a devoted, adventurous, and deeply rewarding companion. How do I act when I first meet new people? At first, Honey may take a moment to warm up to new people. She likes a gentle approach—but once she hears a kind voice and is offered a calm, open hand, her walls melt away. From there, she’s your buddy: loyal, engaged, and happy to be right by your side. Other tips and tidbits:  We were told Honey is 3 years old. We have no paperwork confirming this. We celebrate her birthday 12/2/22.  She is mother to many of the puppies. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs.  If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip.  Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina.   To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home.   You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc.  Others here may be a better fit for you.  It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description.  Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a  dog not in our listings yet.  We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR. December 28, 2025, 12:48 pm

Red is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Red is a doodle. We cannot guarantee that she is hypoallergenic or won't shed. Weight: 60 lbs Height: 24 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $699 Fence needed? Yes, Red requires a physically fenced yard with fencing 4 feet or taller. What kind of home would be best for me? Having never lived as a household pet, everything about home life will be new to Red. While she is naturally confident, she will need patience, guidance, and time to learn routines, house manners, and expectations. Red will require all basic training and a family willing to help her grow into her role as a loved and cherished companion. Red is comfortable stepping slightly outside of her comfort zone and, with time to warm up, would do just fine as an only dog. She has a calm, easygoing nature, but because she has spent her life around other dogs, continued socialization and regular doggy playdates will be important for her happiness and confidence. What is my personality like? Red is a young, sweet doodle with a face that instantly melts your heart. Mellow, gentle, and deeply devoted, Red is the kind of dog who wants to be by your side wherever life takes you. Once she forms a bond, she will happily follow you to the ends of the earth. Red is sweet and playful with other dogs, but her favorite pastime is far more peaceful—she loves to relax, stretch out in the sunshine, and quietly enjoy the world around her. With gentle support and a loving home, Red has all the potential to blossom into a loyal, steady, and affectionate family member. How do I act when I first meet new people? Red can be timid at first. She needs a few moments to warm up. Other tips and tidbits: Red's birthday is 10/11/2024 House trained? Bean is up to date on vaccines for age and has been dewormed. He had an ear infection upon arrival and foster mom is working on resolving that.   Weight: 35 lbs and growing - tracking to be about 50 full grown Height: 18 in at the shoulder now - tracking to be 24" when full grown Spayed/Neutered: No. Bean is too young to be neutered. He will be adopted on a spay/neuter addendum that requires you to neuter him within 9 months at your cost and provide proof of neuter. Adoption Fee: $699 Fence needed? Yes, Bean requires a physically fenced yard with fencing 4 feet or taller. What kind of home would be best for me? Bean's perfect home will have someone home more than they are away. We would prefer someone with standard poodle experience and most importantly, Bean needs a role model.  Bean would thrive in a home with a younger (under 5 years old) dog who is playful and ready to show him the world.  Fenced in yard is an absolute must and an active home that believes that dogs are companions and takes their dogs everywhere is also a must. Poodle puppies are always in need of a canine friend, they love to run and play with one another. Poodle puppies are active, agile little babies, they need homes that are ready to tire them out both mentally and physically, so a fenced in yard will be required. Poodle puppies are very well rounded dogs, they do not meet strangers and would do well with a nice big family or a single owner! What matters most to a poodle puppy is a happy and excited owner ready to take on loving and training their new puppy! When raised around cats, with proper boundaries, puppies do very well, it is important to note that poodles can have a high prey drive. If you expect your puppy to get alone with your feline buddy, it’s important to start socializing the puppy with the cat as soon as you can! This pup has not had contact with cats that we know of and will not have contact while with their current foster. What is my personality like? Bean is a sweet and happy puppy. He loves people and loves playing with other dogs. Toys are great and he gladly occupies himself playing with one after another.  He is quiet in his crate and sleeps through the night.  PUPPY POLICY: Thank you for carefully considering the addition of a puppy to your family. Puppies can be a joyous experience, but they can also be a tremendous amount of work. Since our goal is to place each of our dogs in forever homes, we are especially cautious with puppies. We like to stress 3 major things when considering a puppy vs. an adult dog: 1) many adult dogs are well bred, well trained dogs who find themselves in rescue through no fault of their own, 2) adult dogs are eager to share their love and bond with their new family, and 3) puppies will always require far more time, energy, and training than an adult dog. Our ideal puppy adopters are: -experienced dog owners with a solid record of excellent vet care of their previous pets -scheduled away from home for no more than 4 hours per day and have another canine companion already in the home -stay at home type of people (work at home, home schoolers, retired, etc) How do I act when I first meet new people? Bean is a happy-go-lucky boy who meets new people enthusiastically.  Other tips and tidbits: Bean's birthday is 07/04/25 House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
