Story
Hey. It’s me. Cooper. Yes, that Cooper. The one who looks like he should come with a warning label that says “may contain zoomies, enthusiasm, and accidental furniture destruction.” I’m a 1.5 year old doodle mix tipping the scales at a solid 122 lbs of pure energy, wiggles, and “I swear I didn’t mean to do that” moments. I am basically a large, fluffy espresso shot with legs. I am a very sweet boy with my people. I love affection, I love attention, and I love being part of everything you are doing. If you sit down, I will be there. If you stand up, I will also be there. Personal space is more of a suggestion in my world. Now about my lifestyle. I am active. Like, really active. I do not believe in idle time. I believe in movement, training, play, and more movement. I am looking for someone experienced who understands my energy and my breed mix and is ready to continue my training so I can be the best version of myself. Structure is very important for me, even if I occasionally act like I forgot that. When it comes to other dogs, I enjoy having friends, but I need dogs who can keep up with me. I am not the best match for older or very calm dogs who just want peace and quiet. Cats are unknown territory for me, so for now, a no-cat home is recommended. Because of my size, energy, and enthusiasm for life, I would do best in an adult-only home with no kids. I need people who are confident, consistent, and ready for a big dog with big feelings and even bigger zoomies. At the end of the day, I am not trying to be wild, I am just a giant doodle who loves life a little too much and needs the right person to help me channel it. With the right home, I will be loyal, loving, hilarious, and your very fluffy full-time workout program! My adoption fee is $295 and I'm neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet me today!

Story
If you are interested in adopting Charlie, please fill out an application at woodscreekrescue.com Charlie is an adorable 8-month-old poodle mix with a playful personality and a love for fetch. This young pup is full of energy and enjoys chasing and retrieving balls, making him a great companion for an active home. As a puppy, Charlie is still learning the ropes and will benefit from continued training and guidance. The good news is that he is eager to learn, responds well to positive reinforcement, and is considered easy to train. Charlie would do best in a home without young children, as he is not comfortable around kids. He thrives with patient adopters who can provide structure, consistency, and plenty of opportunities for play and enrichment. Age: 8 months Breed: Poodle mix Male Good with children: No Favorite activity: Playing ball/fetch Training: Needs continued training but is eager to learn and easy to train

Story
Hi, introducing Cassie: a poodle/ giant schnauzer mix with boundless energy, lots of love and endless snuggles to give. We’ve had her since fall of ‘21 when we adopted her at 7 months old from her first owner who did not give her the time she needed. She’s great with kids, loves playing with other dogs (though can get rough and is definitely ball-aggressive) and is a terrific bedhog. We’ve made the difficult decision to rehome her as she’s proven to be incompatible with our multi-species-animal lifestyle. She simply cannot co-exist with cats/rabbits/chickens etc - her prey drive is just overwhelming. We’ve tried a lot of at home training but can’t afford the “crash-course/bootcamp” stuff. Right now she spends most of her time in one bedroom to keep our other animals safe and it’s just not fair to her. She’s got her basic vaccines and has not been spayed. House-broken, does okay with recall but we do use a beeper collar to reinforce that.

Story
Lady Gaga is a 4 year old Poodle mix, with a very sweet, bonding, loving, and affectionate personality. She is a sensitive girl who becomes very attached to her people. She has always lived with other dogs, but would love to be the only apple of her person's eye. She would be fine with another friendly dog or even two. Lady is fostered in Linn County, Oregon. We are about an hour from Eugene, Sisters, Corvallis and Salem, and about 2 hours from Portland and Newport. Lady is house trained, leash trained and rides nicely in the car. She stays home loose without any problem, however she is accustomed to human company most of the time, so we seek a home where she will ideally have company most of the time. She would make a great activity, travel, and out on the town companion, and would also enjoy being a home body as long as she gets the activity she needs for her weight and health. She is moderate energy. Lady is on a diet with the goal of losing about 15 pounds. This will involve both diet and exercise. We seek adopters who will be committed to helping Lady achieve this goal for her health. She has lost weight before, so we know it can be done! We will report back as she loses weight in rescue. Lady is vaccinated, de-wormed, DNA tested, micro-chipped and has had a recent dental. She comes with her belongings: bed, toys, leash, collar, the remainder of her food. Her adoption fee is $350. A great home for Lady Gaga and her must haves include: 1. An owned or stable renter home with a securely fenced yard. 2. Adopters home a lot, or who can take her with them. Lady is used to having people around, and though non-destructive and fine alone, she is just not used to it. We welcome folks who can help her adjust to reasonable periods of time alone. 3. Active folks who take their dog on daily walks. Folks who would help her lose 15 pounds of extra weight. 4. People who believe in good nutrition and vet care, and who know and are prepared for the cost of grooming. If you are interested in Lady Gaga, fill out the application now using the following link: We will call you promptly if we think you could be a great match. https://forms.gle/YN3bZmza2njh61jLA You may also inquire by emailing woofovermyhead@gmail.com. Include: Lady in the subject line. Tell us a bit about yourself, and how Lady will fit into your life. Leave your phone number so that we can reach out promptly. Please be sure that all family members are on board with adopting a new family member before applying. Be available for a meet and adoption in the week following applying. Be motivated to adopt a new family member and be willing to travel to meet her. Rescue is an extremely busy full time volunteer gig; if you apply for a dog at a distance, please be ready to drive all or almost all of that distance to meet and adopt her. We are willing to drive an hour for those coming from afar. Non-cigarette smokers only, please.
