Story
Hey. It’s me. Cooper. Yes, that Cooper. The one who looks like he should come with a warning label that says “may contain zoomies, enthusiasm, and accidental furniture destruction.” I’m a 1.5 year old doodle mix tipping the scales at a solid 122 lbs of pure energy, wiggles, and “I swear I didn’t mean to do that” moments. I am basically a large, fluffy espresso shot with legs. I am a very sweet boy with my people. I love affection, I love attention, and I love being part of everything you are doing. If you sit down, I will be there. If you stand up, I will also be there. Personal space is more of a suggestion in my world. Now about my lifestyle. I am active. Like, really active. I do not believe in idle time. I believe in movement, training, play, and more movement. I am looking for someone experienced who understands my energy and my breed mix and is ready to continue my training so I can be the best version of myself. Structure is very important for me, even if I occasionally act like I forgot that. When it comes to other dogs, I enjoy having friends, but I need dogs who can keep up with me. I am not the best match for older or very calm dogs who just want peace and quiet. Cats are unknown territory for me, so for now, a no-cat home is recommended. Because of my size, energy, and enthusiasm for life, I would do best in an adult-only home with no kids. I need people who are confident, consistent, and ready for a big dog with big feelings and even bigger zoomies. At the end of the day, I am not trying to be wild, I am just a giant doodle who loves life a little too much and needs the right person to help me channel it. With the right home, I will be loyal, loving, hilarious, and your very fluffy full-time workout program! My adoption fee is $295 and I'm neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet me today!

Story
Uma is a black beauty with a captivating smile and happy attitude! She is a social butterfly with a joyful but relaxed temperament. Uma would love to be a part of your home. She is hopeful for a fenced backyard to play in. She came to us from a home with acreage who could no longer keep her. She really enjoyed the space of acreage and getting to sunbathe in her previous fenced yard. - Date of birth: 7/8/25 - Weighs 65 pounds and is a bigger, fluffy-soft girl with a wavvy coat that will do just fine with regular brushing. She doesn't have tight curls that mat like so many Doodles do. - Wisdom Panel DNA tested: 48% German Shepherd, 42% Poodle and 10% Labrador/Golden Retriever - Good with other dogs and has regularly gone to doggie daycare. - Good with cats and was raised with them - Good with gentle children and has been around them regularly - Crate trained and happily sleeps in her crate at night - Potty trained - Does well for car rides and loads right up - Nice medium energy even for a young dog. She can be playful but also readily rests and relaxes in the home. Uma is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, DNA tested, fecal tested negative, heartworm/tick tested negative, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Portland or Tualatin. $350 adoption fee Fostered in Oregon City, Oregon COMPLETE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR UMA ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

Story
Hi, introducing Cassie: a poodle/ giant schnauzer mix with boundless energy, lots of love and endless snuggles to give. We’ve had her since fall of ‘21 when we adopted her at 7 months old from her first owner who did not give her the time she needed. She’s great with kids, loves playing with other dogs (though can get rough and is definitely ball-aggressive) and is a terrific bedhog. We’ve made the difficult decision to rehome her as she’s proven to be incompatible with our multi-species-animal lifestyle. She simply cannot co-exist with cats/rabbits/chickens etc - her prey drive is just overwhelming. We’ve tried a lot of at home training but can’t afford the “crash-course/bootcamp” stuff. Right now she spends most of her time in one bedroom to keep our other animals safe and it’s just not fair to her. She’s got her basic vaccines and has not been spayed. House-broken, does okay with recall but we do use a beeper collar to reinforce that.
