What we can guarantee is that she's ridiculously cute, with soft black curls kissed by warm brown highlights that somehow make her look freshly fluffed all the time. Lucy is being fostered in a loving home with children, and it shows. She already understands how to live inside a home, settles nicely in her crate, and has the kind of everyday manners that make life together feel easy. Hi, I'm Mia, a beautiful, four year old, 51 pound cream and apricot parti patterned Poodle Lady. I love to be active, and to settle down quietly. I love chasing butterflies, playing with other playful dogs, lying outdoors and on furniture indoors. I would not mind sleeping on your bed, or on the couch or a dog bed. Mia is fostered in Cascadia, about an hour from Eugene, Sisters, Salem, Corvallis and Portland. We will meet part way for folks coming from afar. I am house trained, ride well in the car, and am off leash trained. I love pets and snuggles, once I know you. I need a home with active folks who are not gone long hours, and a good sized yard with a 6 foot fence. I have 10-14 plus years of life left and I want to spend it all in one forever home with my forever people. Mia has been house trained in rescue. She is now great at pottying in the yard, and is off leash recall trained. She will walk on a leash, but is still new at it. She has not yet pottied while on leash. She needs gentle and patient folks who are rescue experienced: one or two women, or a woman and a gentle man. She is a lovely girl. She has no child experience that we know of. We think she will be best off in an adult only or with calm and quiet teens in a easygoing household. Mia is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and groomed. Her adoption fee is $600. A great home and must haves for Mia include: 1. An owned home with a 6 foot securely fenced good sized yard. A primary handler who is female. 2. Folks not gone long hours. 3. Sadie is a 4 year old lovely lady. She is a 57 pound Ginger colored Standard Poodle. She is a love: beautiful, sweet and a joy to have as a companion. Sadie is house trained, affectionate, playful, moderate energy. She is good in the car, and on leash. She is good with other dogs. She will be best around sturdy small dogs as she can be unaware of their presence. She is off leash recall trained and very good natured. Sadie has not been around children to our knowledge, but we think she would be fine with older, dog savvy kids with great dog manners. Sadie loves being around her people, going for walks, playing in a field or river. She has recently shown interest in toys and likes bully sticks. Sadie is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and will have a dental this week. Her adoption fee is $600. We will meet part way for potential adopters coming from Portland or distances of two hours or greater. Sadie is still recovering from toe pad injuries caused by imbedded toenails in her past. They are healing well and we expect no issues at all going forward. She will need to walk on soft surfaces mostly for now, and we will send any foot coverings that have been helpful in rescue. A great home and must haves for Sadie include: 1. A home with a connected good sized securely fenced yard. 2. Folks not gone long hours and who treat their dogs as family members who can lie on the couch and ideally sleep in the bedroom, and who include them in their fun activities. We are seeking a no crate home for Sadie; she does not need it. 3. Adopters who are rescue dog savvy and who know and can afford the cost of grooming a poodle and who offer good quality nutrition and veterinary care. 4. Active people who will be able to care for Sadie for the rest of her life, which could be well over 11 years.
