Story
Talan (Biggee) 1 year old, neutered male, 7lbs. Toy Poodle mix   PERSONALITY TRAITS: Talan is energetic, curious, and independent. He loves attention, and doesn’t seem to be bothered by dogs of any sizes. He’s a quirky little guy who runs headfirst into every situation.    LIKES: Pets, socks, anything soft or fuzzy, toys, bones, his brother, and playing chase. His favorite thing is running zoomies and chasing whoever has the ball.    DISLIKES: Being left out of the action.    POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Work in progress. Will alert to go out, and does well with regular trips outside, and while in a crate.   CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Sleeps in a crate, and stays in an X-pen/crate during the day and while people are away. Will go in the crate and X-pen.    EXTRAS/MISC.: Talan would do great with another playful dog his size, and a yard to play in. He has a lot of energy and needs regular exercise to keep him out of trouble. He does well with hard chews. As a young dog, he would benefit from additional training and careful socialization. He is goofy, playful, curious and always bringing joy to his people. He seems to like all people, and is curious about all new dogs.   To further inquire about TALAN, submit an application. https://www.wigglytails.org/adoption-application   Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how TALAN will mesh with your lifestyle. Story
Meet Freddie our sweet one year old poodle mix. He weighs 15 pounds full grown. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. The vet sent him home with a clean bill of health and is now ready to find a home all his own. He is house trained and goes outside to do his business every couple hours when needed. Inside the home, he's pretty independent and keeps to himself unless you're calling him over for some love and attention. He's not the type to demand affection, but he absolutely soaks it up when it's offered. He is still getting the hang of walking on a leash and building confidence as his previous life as a breeder dog didn't include many outings, so everything is still a little unfamiliar to him but he's making steady progress. He enjoys spending quiet time out in the yard and will happily hang out on his own, especially if he's not quite ready to come inside. He's a bit of a hide and seek pro when he wants to be. Every day he gets a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more confident. He currently sleeps in his crate peacefully at night but I'm sure he would love his own bed next to yours if you prefer. He sleeps soundly through the night and settles in easily when you need to step out. What he needs now is someone with patients and a gentle heart, someone who understands that love and trust take time to grow. He'd thrive in a calm, nurturing home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. His adoption fee is $1500 which covers all vet costs, care and training since the time he's been with us. Get in touch with us today and share details about yourself, the loving home you can provide, and your experience with the breed. Located in Hesperia CA. We offer transportation to you so long as it's covered by the adopter. We will be in contact with you shortly. Thank you!

Story
Remy is a 7mo Standard Poodle/Rotweiller/German Shepherd mix. 55lbs, microchipped, neutered and fully vaccinated. Remy is very intelligent, playful, and likes to cuddle. He learns very quickly and has had basic training. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, and adores children! I am not sure how he would do around cats. I think Remy would do best with a family, and as the only dog. He needs a yard to be able to roam and play. He is gentle, curious, and playful with small kids. He is loyal and protective, and will need some continued training to structure this. He gets along great with other dogs, but in the home can be competitive for attention, in a non-aggresive way.

Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:   Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!   Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation?
