Story
Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without saying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $750.00 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Meet Justin – Fluffy, Friendly, and Full of Puppy Joy!Justin is a 3-month-old Golden Doodle who is looking for his forever home. He came to us after his original owner was unable to find a home for him, and now it’s time for him to grow up in a home of his own — with a family ready to give him all the love, training, and adventures he deserves.Justin is the picture of puppy charm: soft curls, wagging tail, and boundless curiosity. He has a gentle, mellow nature and is happy to trot along at your side. He`s friendly with people, loves attention, and is already learning the ropes of good puppy behavior. He`s going to be a big dog — about the size of a Golden Retriever — so his ideal family will need to have room for him to grow, both physically and emotionally. He’ll need patience, structure, and continued training, just like all puppies do. In return, he’ll give you loyalty, laughter, and years of joyful companionship. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and beautiful new best friend, come meet Justin — we have a feeling he will steal your heart.

Story
Meet Bentley Bentley is a 3-year-old large mixed-breed pup, born April 16, 2022. We’ve had him since he was a puppy, and he’s always been full of life and love. He’s playful, friendly, and eager for attention — but also very energetic and strong, which can make him a handful on a leash at times. We had Bentley professionally trained through OffLeashK9 using an e-collar, but he didn’t respond well to that method long-term. Still, he remembers his basic commands and responds when we work with him — he’s a smart dog who wants to engage and please. Unfortunately, Bentley needs more time and attention than we’re able to give him. He thrives with interaction, play, and structure. We’re hoping to find a home where he can get the consistent exercise, affection, and stimulation he deserves. We’re located in southeast Kentucky, about 80 miles from Knoxville. We’re happy to share more info and pictures — including shots from when he was a puppy and photos of his mom and dad. Bentley will do best with an experienced owner or active family who understands large, high-energy dogs. We truly want the best for him and believe the right home is out there.
