Story
Shiloh is a very sweet mild mannered dog she loves to cuddle. She has Addisons (which is common in poodles) and requires a shot once a month (percortin V) that runs about $70 a month. It is very important that she goes to someone that can keep up the cost of her medication. She is house trained and is not crated at all. I am no longer in a position to be able to take care of her as far as time or finances and it is very important that she goes to a loving home as she is now living in one. She is great around kids babies and other animals. Her bday is 12/16 she will be 4 at that time. We have had her since she was a puppy. She is a well groomed very smart dog.

Story
After two months in his adoptive home, Baron was unfortunately returned to our care because they did not feel like they bonded with him. He is back in his original foster home and ready to find his true forever family! Now that his hair has grown out, he is sporting a new look thanks to a kind person who donated a groom. We were also able to finally clear up his ear infections with a special compounded treatment, so Baron is looking and feeling better than ever! Baron is as gentle and laid-back as they come. His two favorite things are naps and walks. You’ll usually find him on a cool spot on the floor or on a comfy bed. When his leash comes out, however, he gets so excited to go on his nightly walk and even shows some energy by trying to chase bunnies. Baron is friendly with every dog and person he meets. He is completely non-reactive, letting puppies give him kisses and other dogs clean his ears. He doesn’t play with other dogs at all, but he will need the companionship of a canine friend in his forever home. When it comes to humans, he’s great with everyone. He doesn’t jump or give kisses, but he does enjoy being pet. His good manners continue, as he does not get on furniture unless he is invited, is great in the car, and sits politely for baths, nail trims, and grooming. He is also potty trained, and his foster family lets him stay out in the house when they leave. Baron is a 7 year old Standard Poodle weighing about 65lbs. If you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an application at rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2281548##

Story
Meet sweet Doug!Doug is a 40 pound, one year old white standard poodle mix who is super sweet and cuddly. He always has a smile on his face. He’s potty trained, crate trained and recently neutered.Doug gets along with other dogs but also likes his personal space. It takes him a few days to warm up to new friends, because he doesn’t want to feel overwhelmed. His way of dealing with this is a low growl, although it isn’t an aggressive growl. It’s more of a “I need a little space and time to get used to you growl”. But once he gets used to you he’s cool as long as you don’t infringe on his space. It’s more about animals than it is about people.Doug likes to play and romp and he’s a curious puppy. He loves his sleep and he doesn’t mind his kennel at all. He will even willingly go lay down in his kennel in the evening just to chill. He understands the command “go to your kennel” especially combined with its night night time. He currently sleeps in his kennel with no issue. Sleeping is normally 10:30 pm to 7:30 am.Doug eats well. I currently feed him in his kennel because I have four dogs, but I’m sure he can get used to not eating in his kennel but he will currently go to his kennel when he knows it’s time to eat. His food was making him a little constipated so he’s been getting some pumpkin added to his kibble.Doug likes chew bones, which are good for his dental health. He likes cuddling with you and rubs behind his ears.He walks well on a leash and does well riding in the car.He is still learning other commands and manners. He currently doesn’t let you know when he needs to go outside for potty so I’ve just been letting him out pretty often. He hasn’t had any accidents. Sometimes he will start barking for no reason so that may be his cue I just haven’t figured it out yet. When he first came to my house he was nervous and unsure of his surroundings and was marking so I put belly bands on him but once he got used to being here he stopped marking.Doug would be a great addition to your family. Not sure how he is with children but he is pretty chill so I wouldn’t think he would be rough with them or snappy. Wouldn’t you like to add Doug to your family? To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications.

Story
Meet Chipmunk!Hi, I’m Chipmunk. I may be a little shy at first, but give me some time, and you’ll see my sweet, gentle nature shine through. I’m a quiet and reserved kind of guy who appreciates the simple things in life—a cozy spot to rest, a peaceful companion, and a kind human who understands that I warm up at my own pace. Once I feel safe, I’ll be your loyal, loving friend.I enjoy the company of other calm dogs and find comfort in their presence. I’ll tolerate puppies, but if I had a choice, I’d much rather have older, mellow friends to share my space with. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will appreciate your patience and kindness, I’d love to meet you. A calm, loving home sounds like the perfect place for me to truly shine. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
