Meet Dagger Dagger is a handsome young Poodle born 10/15/2023, weighing about 54 pounds, with a gentle heart and a playful spirit. This sweet boy is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He enjoys his daily walks, exploring the yard, and learning about the world around him. When it’s time to play, Dagger’s adorable little hops of excitement will make anyone smile — and once playtime is over, he’s perfectly happy curling up for a long nap.Dagger is wonderful with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and even likes cats. Because he can be a bit shy in new environments, he needs another confident dog in the home to help show him the ropes and help him feel secure. With a little patience while he settles in, his goofy, affectionate personality really shines. He would do best in a home with a yard where he can safely run and play, and with an adopter who is home often or works from home.Dagger is neutered, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He has been treated for distichia (extra eyelashes that can irritate the eye) and currently just needs eye lubricant applied twice daily. He also has an old broken canine tooth that the vet recommends simply monitoring, as it does not bother him.Once Dagger feels comfortable and starts showing off his playful hops and sweet personality, it’s easy to see why everyone who meets him falls in love. Meet Deacon!Deacon is a two-year-old poodle mix who was rescued around Thanksgiving 2025. Since then he has made tremendous progress. His playful personality has definitely come out! He is very curious about his foster`s toddler and loves to watch the neighborhood activity from their gated yard. He takes a moment to warm up to new people. He will initially stay far away from new people until he is comfortable. Once he feels comfortable he will come close and be OK with being petted. When he is totally comfortable, he loves a tummy scratch!Deacon plays great and gets along with other dogs. However, he doesn`t need a dog companion so he would be fine as the only pup in the home. Meet Noodle! He is a tall, slim, handsome guy who is ready for his forever home. He was out looking for help (or a new home) one day when he came across a couple who helped him find his owners. When the owners were not found, his helpers got him into rescue. While TSBR generally does not have DNA results for dogs in the program, Noodles’ friends wanted to know what makes up this handsome boy. 72 % Poodle (Medium and Standard) 24 % Golden Retriever 3 % Poodle (Toy and Miniature) 1 % American Cocker Spaniel What a great testament to his fantastic personality! This playful, loving boy is fully vetted and ready to find his new home. Noodle loves all the people he meets. He knows sit, shake, down, and place, and is making good progress on leash training and can heel. He is house-trained and uses a dog door. Noodle sleeps quietly in either his kennel or on a dog bed by his foster’s bed. He does not get up on the furniture or ask to do so, but could probably be convinced if you would like this! Noodle is loved at the vet and great at the groomers. He loves car rides and will lie quietly on a pillow in the back seat. Noodle does not jump on people or counter surf. He also is not a barker. He is a trusted member of his foster family and has full range of the house when his fosters are away. This energetic boy loves to play with other dogs. He is considerate of older and smaller dogs as well. He does play energetically with dogs his own age and size… his foster sister taught him that. Recently, Noodle has shown interest in stuffed toys and a large ball he loves to chase and carry.
