Meet Maddy and Culli. addy is the White Poodle Ish onem, and Culli is the brown female.   They, have been living in a deserted home for a year.  The owner was sent into a mental institution, and the dogs were left there to fend for themselves. A real estate agent found them in the back yard. The Eclectic and gas was turned off but they had a doggy door. The neighbor found out about their plight and started bringing HUGE bowls of food with water over to the yard - enough to last a week.  Well, it was so much food that they ate it all..bored witih no human touch.  They are super sweet.  They so deserve a good home. They can be adopted out together or apart. Maddie is about 4 years old and weighs 30 lbs. ##2019268##

 Prince PKA Papi is a 3 year old, 50 lb Poodle or Doodle. He is a stunningly handsome, well-behaved, friendly dog with people and other canines. He has a luxurious black coat and his tail has been docked but not in the traditional poodle manner. He was surrendered to a local shelter because  they "didn't want him anymore." He is perfect in our opinion. He is super loving and calm.  He is just the BEST dog.  He is great with other dogs and allows little ones to crawl all over him.  He won't last long. ##2020675##

Oberon is a 7 month old 50 pound adorable scruffy boy. He is a big cuddler, house trained, leash trained, and knows basic commands. He is extremely friendly with people and is dog friendly. Oberon's ideal home will have another playful dog, fenced yard and adopter home more than not   To meet Oberon in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and immediate surrounding areas. ##1987043##
