If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Sam I Am is a 3‑year‑old Poodle mix weighing 8.4 pounds, and he’s a gentle little soul who came to us as a stray with severely matted fur. After a much‑needed grooming and veterinary care, he’s feeling so much better and is ready to find a home where he can feel safe and understood.Sam I Am is very nervous at first and would likely not do well in a home with young children who may not understand boundaries. He does best when people go slow with him, giving him time to build trust. Once he realizes he’s safe, he becomes incredibly sweet and affectionate. He can get overwhelmed around hyper or high‑energy dogs, but he has done well with calmer companions. His adoption fee is $450.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether he is housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you’d like to meet Sam I Am, we’d be happy to help. He’s a tender, sensitive little dog who just needs a patient home where he can feel secure and loved. 🐾✨

Story
Peter is still available for adoption, and his adoption fee is $300. He’s about 2 1⁄2 years old andweighs 61 pounds. He came to us as a surrender after a kind woman took him in from a difficultsituation. When he arrived, he was matted, covered in fleas, and underweight - but even then, his gentle spirit shone through. Now cleaned up, cared for, and feeling so much better, Peter has proven to be one of thesweetest boys you could ever meet. He adores all people, gets along wonderfully with every doghe’s met, and has brought so much joy to everyone here. We’ve truly enjoyed his company andcan’t wait for him to find a home where he’ll be cherished.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whetherthey are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:▪ Spay/neuter surgery▪ Microchip▪ All age-appropriate vaccinations▪ Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)▪ Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention▪ A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you’d like to meet Peter or have any questions, I’d be happy to help. He’s a truly special boywho’s more than ready for a fresh start and a family to love.
