You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please meet Beautiful Mimi a 3 Year Old Schnauzer/Poodle that weighs 18 lbs.  She is a sweet girl who needs someone to help her to blossom.  We have worked with Mimi as she was not socialized very much previously.  She was a stray through the Humane Society that came in very matted.  She does get along with dogs her size (doesn't care for pups though).  She would do great in a mainly adult house.  She does walk on a leash and is learning manners.  Mimi is vaccinated, microchip and spayed.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 27, 2024, 1:05 pm

She is your typical tomboy girl who enjoys playing wrestling and checking things out. She is already spayed and has had her second set of vaccines and not yet ready to venture and explore the world because she is too young But when she does she will love a family who is active and will take her for daily walks or occasional hikes/runs and has other dogs to play with or will make sure she has weekly doggy play dates with friends. She is crate and potty pad trained. Enjoys car rides and is great with dogs, cats and perfect with children. She is one smart cookie and we are looking for adopter who will enroll in dog puppy classes to make sure this little señorita grows up to be well mannered because there's nothing worst than a little terrier with a outgoing personality and no manners. ARWOB is a huge proponent of ALL dogs should be enrolled in dog training at any point of life and by any owners And any and all breeds. Good ownership is guardianship is what its all about.  to schedule a meet and greet with this beauty please submit a dog adoption application online @arwob.org Original Rescue story:Meet the most adorable puppers! These adorable siblings (2 males and 2 females) have been named after famous equines: Beauty, Misty, Mr. Ed and Flicka! They were originally rescued off the streets of Tijuana on 3/1/24 when a good sam heard some light whining and looked around to find a purse with 4 pups nothing else inside. The poor babies were tossed like trash. No other people around and no mama dog. Obviously someone had an intact dog who had pups and instead of sterilizing the dog they discard the pups as trash to not be burned. Tragic and too common. We were contacted for help and thankfully a great foster parent who had never bottle fed pups before but had so much experience foster pup and a human mama herself jumped into action after being guided by another foster with bottle feeding experience. Fast forward 8 weeks, the pups have done AMAZING. Healthy, thriving and READY for adoption. The pups are crate and potty pad trained, WOW! Can you ask for anything more? Such young babes and so smart learning so well. These pups were raised with a loving family where they have been socialized with both adults and children so they are very socialized with people and dogs, As young pups they are of course ideal to be introduced to feline friends and have a great time. We do NOT know their breed. Being from south of the border anything goes. They are likely a large breed like a shepherd type with a small breed like a poodle/schnauzer mix, 3 pups have the same short wire-Haired (mostly) and one pup has short smooth coat. As of 4/25 they are 7 pounds and 2 months which means they likely will be in the 30-45 pound range when full grown a perfect medium size dog. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you would like to meet one of our animals, PLEASE fill out an adoption application. Story
Dog’s location Southern California. N SD County. (If this ad is running the dog is available.) Be prepared travel.. IMPORTANT! Please check your Spam/Junk folder periodically for replies. ——————— Meet Skipper, a stunning Standard Schnauzer mix female about 8 months old. Still a puppy with a big personality. Her past is a bit of a mystery, all we know is that she went from home to home till she ended up with us. She is a medium size dog at about 40 lbs. We have not seen her shed so she must have a low to non shedding coat. Vaccinated, spayed, microchipped. Lived with small children. Crate trained. Friendly with other dogs, livestock. Will chase small running animals, so probably no cats or house rabbits. She knows basic commands, responsive to training but still has a lot to learn and needs guidance. We are looking for an experienced person for her who is familiar with the breed or protective guardian breeds. She is alert and not trustworthy with strangers but it’s not hard to make friends with her. Food motivated. Will need to work on her socialization. Very loving with people she trusts. Professional training is recommended. !Skipper is very athletic and can jump 6 ft solid fence unless she is familiar with a home and is not left unattended outside. She is not trying to escape but to find her family. A pool type of iron fence would be best or leash walks. Some yard digging if left unattended and bored. For the most part she is very calm. Great indoors. Non destructive. No separation anxiety. She is Not a high energy dog. Quiet and mellow but will alert of any disturbance and be on guard. Playful and affectionate. She would be great for someone active & energetic, looking for a companion dog who is loyal and is protective by nature and has time to spend with her. If you have a home with high foot traffic or gone 8+ hours a day, this dog will not be a good fit! Skipper is a lot of fun, very loving and entertaining. Not dominant nor stubborn. She possesses some Schnauzer traits but not all. No off leash time in public or open spaces unless in a fenced area. It is truly a joy to have around. We are sure that the right home is out there for her. She has lots of love to give, a loyal protector & companion by your side and truly is a joy to have around.,Never a dull moment.
