Story
My son has developed severe allergies to dogs, and despite our efforts, we're faced with the heartbreaking choice between my son's health and keeping Maverick. Maverick is almost 3 years old and possesses a wonderful personality that's both playful and curious. He's learned many tricks, loves playing and cuddling, and is exceptionally gentle and sweet with children and small dogs. He walks well, is fully potty-trained, and doesn't have any destructive habits like chewing furniture or shoes. Maverick is also comfortable with grooming and baths, although he's a bit apprehensive about nail trimmings and visits to the vet.

She is not only a beautiful girl but her personality is just THE best. She grew up in a foster home which means this pup is the most loving and social little thing around. She currently is fostered in a home with children and other dogs who has daily exposure to women, men and all different size dogs. She has stayed at casa de arwob a couple of times and always does great with the cats too. She is crate trained and in her foster home she is house trained. She is a puppy who will seek human attention and then play with her doggy friends. Beauty is now fully vaccinated, spayed and of course microchipped which means her foster family takes her camping and to the dog beach often. She is always a hit at the dog park making friends and especially saying hi to all the humans she meets. We would love a family who is seeking to adopt a medium size dog who will need some brushing as her coat is not long but 'fuzzy' like a terrier. Her identical sister was adopted in June and her DNA test came back as 33% Havanese, 25% Cao da Serra De Aires and 21% Tibetan Terrrier and 15% LowchenBeauty and her brother Mr. Ed are the last 2 standing pups of the littler and as of the first week of July Beauty is 19 pounds. We believe she will reach the 30 pound range making her a perfect size for san diego living.Looking to adopt a dog like Beauty? Story
Dog’s location Southern California. N SD County. (If this ad is running the dog is available.) Be prepared travel.. IMPORTANT! Please check your Spam/Junk folder periodically for replies. ——————— Meet Skipper, a stunning Standard Schnauzer mix female about 8 months old. Still a puppy with a big personality. Her past is a bit of a mystery, all we know is that she went from home to home till she ended up with us. She is a medium size dog at about 40 lbs. We have not seen her shed so she must have a low to non shedding coat. Vaccinated, spayed, microchipped. Lived with small children. Crate trained. Friendly with other dogs, livestock. Will chase small running animals, so probably no cats or house rabbits. She knows basic commands, responsive to training but still has a lot to learn and needs guidance. We are looking for an experienced person for her who is familiar with the breed or protective guardian breeds. She is alert and not trustworthy with strangers but it’s not hard to make friends with her. Food motivated. Will need to work on her socialization. Very loving with people she trusts. Professional training is recommended. !Skipper is very athletic and can jump 6 ft solid fence unless she is familiar with a home and is not left unattended outside. She is not trying to escape but to find her family. A pool type of iron fence would be best or leash walks. Some yard digging if left unattended and bored. For the most part she is very calm. Great indoors. Non destructive. No separation anxiety. She is Not a high energy dog. Quiet and mellow but will alert of any disturbance and be on guard. Playful and affectionate. She would be great for someone active & energetic, looking for a companion dog who is loyal and is protective by nature and has time to spend with her. If you have a home with high foot traffic or gone 8+ hours a day, this dog will not be a good fit! Skipper is a lot of fun, very loving and entertaining. Not dominant nor stubborn. She possesses some Schnauzer traits but not all. No off leash time in public or open spaces unless in a fenced area. It is truly a joy to have around. We are sure that the right home is out there for her. She has lots of love to give, a loyal protector & companion by your side and truly is a joy to have around.,Never a dull moment. Story
Please come to our adoption event to meet them: Saturday 05/28 from 4:30 pm to 6: pm at PetSmart in Clairemont, 4253 Genesee Ave, San Diego, CA 92117 **Please read all the way to the bottom about our organization, and how to procced to adopt. Nachos is a wonderful mellow young male fur 4 leg boy with lots of love to give you!! he has this wonderful soft & wired hair that makes him look so cute!!😊making him a hypoallergenic or low shedding boy:) He is very playful; and gets along with all dogs. He plays so much with his buddy an Australian Shepherd named Lady. However, at the beginning he is a little shy - once he is comfortable he will be very playful. He is crate trained. He is a cuddle bug once he is comfortable. He has the ideal size as well - not too small neither too large:) As with all rescued fur kids; he is going to need training, love reinforcement; as you know they all come from a tough beginning on their lives and the art of adopting a rescued creature is to bring them to be the best they can be with love and patience. He hasn't been around cats since we rescued him; therefore, we do not know how he will be cats. Nachos will make a great family addition to any family:) He was found next to the death body of another dog; we assumed a sister - he was crying for her - and wasn't let her be there left alone - The hybrid is a people pleaser and will, therefore, respond well to training while enjoying the attention and the chance to make you happy that comes with it. This Schnauzer Terrier Mix is entirely compatible with children because they demonstrate both playfulness and patience. Moreover, these dogs are quite easy to socialize. Are you ready to give him a forever home? If so, Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st type of contact or email veronica.aaofusa@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . If approved, the adoption coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a Meet-and-Greet appointment. No appointments will be made unless we have received an application; therefore, we can match you with the best fit for you. Follow us on Instagram @aaofus where you can see more pics. Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date yearly DHLPP vaccinations, spaying or neutering, deworming, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- A minute of conscious - Please read:) We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!
