Story
Bongo is approximately 3 years of age, around 23 pounds, neutered, fully vaccinated & microchipped schnauzer/terry mix breed. He IS crate potty and leash trained~ soon he will be a pro of all three!! He is affectionate, playful but also has a calm demeanor which provides a nice balance. Bongo gets along well with most dogs, adults and children alike. Given his adaptability, he should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!! Bongo was rescued from the streets of TJ by his previous owner but now needs a forever home; fortunately he is now flourishing under the loving care of FHSTJ. (Nov 2024) Bongo has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide him with the affection and attention he craves. He deserves a warm and loving home where he can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!

Story
Please come to our adoption event to meet them: Saturday 05/28 from 4:30 pm to 6: pm at PetSmart in Clairemont, 4253 Genesee Ave, San Diego, CA 92117 **Please read all the way to the bottom about our organization, and how to procced to adopt. Nachos is a wonderful mellow young male fur 4 leg boy with lots of love to give you!! he has this wonderful soft & wired hair that makes him look so cute!!😊making him a hypoallergenic or low shedding boy:) He is very playful; and gets along with all dogs. He plays so much with his buddy an Australian Shepherd named Lady. However, at the beginning he is a little shy - once he is comfortable he will be very playful. He is crate trained. He is a cuddle bug once he is comfortable. He has the ideal size as well - not too small neither too large:) As with all rescued fur kids; he is going to need training, love reinforcement; as you know they all come from a tough beginning on their lives and the art of adopting a rescued creature is to bring them to be the best they can be with love and patience. He hasn't been around cats since we rescued him; therefore, we do not know how he will be cats. Nachos will make a great family addition to any family:) He was found next to the death body of another dog; we assumed a sister - he was crying for her - and wasn't let her be there left alone - The hybrid is a people pleaser and will, therefore, respond well to training while enjoying the attention and the chance to make you happy that comes with it. This Schnauzer Terrier Mix is entirely compatible with children because they demonstrate both playfulness and patience. Moreover, these dogs are quite easy to socialize. Are you ready to give him a forever home? If so, Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st type of contact or email veronica.aaofusa@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . Story
Nova came to us with two other Miniature Schnauzers from a hoarding situation. Their owner ended up with too many dogs and had to give them up to have a chance at a better life. Nova is around 8 years old and is a lovely, social girl. She enjoys going for walks and being held. She gets along with other dogs and has good manners. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Nova then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Story
Snoop and Zoe (bonded pair) 4 & 6 yrs oldTHESE ARE A BONDED PAIR AND MUST GO TOGETHER Their owner recently passed away and so they were brought into our rescue. Meet this adorable bond duo, Zoey and Snoop! These two handfuls of love must be adopted together. Their owner died, and they have lost their home. They can’t lose one another. Their extended family couldn’t provide a home for them but have placed them in the care of Open Arms Rescue with crates, carriers, toys, beds, and more to take with them to their new furever family. Zoey and Snoop are great playmates and love to cuddle with each other and with their people. They both get along well with other dogs, cats, and everyone they’ve met. Each weighs only 9 and a half pounds. They are fully pad-trained and almost fully house-trained. Both of these precious ones walk well on a leash. Zoey (6 years old) is a sweet shih tzu mix who loves to play with her toys and sunbathe. She is the likely initiator of tug-of-war and other play. Snoop (4 years old) is a lovable terrier mix with expressive eyes and ears. When he’s not chasing Zoey, he’s seeking out his next cuddle buddy or spot.  Our adoption fee through our rescue covers the dog being fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered, dewormed and flea treated. Please call 760-470-7643 Or email us at openarmsrescue@hotmail.com or stop by our website and fill out an online application at www.openarmsrescue.orgNovember 23, 2023, 12:15 am
