Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. **ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+.** Our app can be found at **haydudeequine.org** # ☕ Meet Latte! 🐾 **6 years old • 25 pounds • Professional Napper • Big-Eared Beauty** Hi, I’m **Latte!** And yes, I am just as sweet as my name suggests. ☕❤️ I’m a 6-year-old, 25-pound girl with ears so spectacularly large that I’m pretty sure they have their own weather system. I’ve been told they’re adorable, and honestly, I think everyone should spend a little more time appreciating them. Life changed pretty dramatically when my person passed away, so it took me a little while to figure out what was happening. These days, I’m doing just fine! I might take a few minutes to warm up when we first meet, but I’m not planning to make you work for it. Give me a little time, some kindness, and maybe a snack, and we’ll probably be friends before you know it. I **LOVE having other dogs around.** They make me happy, and I really enjoy canine company. I’d be perfectly okay as your one-and-only girl, but if you already have a friendly dog, I’d be thrilled to have a roommate. Basically, I’m happy either way—I just appreciate having someone around who understands the importance of a good nap. And speaking of naps… I am **not** what you would call an overachiever in the energy department. 😂 I enjoy my daily walks and love getting out to sniff and explore, but I’m not looking to train for a marathon. A nice stroll followed by some quality couch time? **Now THAT is my kind of cardio.** I’m a sweet, easygoing girl who would love a home where life is fairly calm and predictable. I’m happiest when I can hang out with my people, enjoy a leisurely walk, make friends with another dog, and then settle in for a good snooze. Think of me as the **latte of dogs**: warm, comforting, easy to love, and best enjoyed while relaxing on the couch. ☕🐶 I’m ready for a forever family who will appreciate my big ears, gentle personality, low-key lifestyle, and impressive ability to make myself comfortable absolutely anywhere. I’ve got plenty of love left to give, and I’m pretty sure my best chapter is still waiting to be written.

Story
Hay Dude Equine Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Texas. All of our dogs live in foster homes in TX and are transported to their new states once adopted. All adopters must be 21+. Applications can be found at haydudeequine.org. Meet Darla! 🩷 Hi, I’m Darla, a 3-year-old, 13-pound little sweetheart who is looking for someone to love me forever! I was found as a stray in New Mexico, and while I’m not sure how I ended up on my own, I’m pretty sure I was meant to end up in someone’s lap. ❤️ We think I’m a Cairn Terrier/Parson’s Terrier mix, and I’m basically the perfect combination of cute, cuddly, and just a little bit scruffy! My head is wonderfully soft and non-shedding, while my back has that adorable wiry terrier coat that sheds a little—so apparently I couldn’t decide which hairstyle I wanted and went with both. 😂 I’m very sweet and loving, and one of my favorite things in the whole world is snuggling with my people. I can be a little nervous when I first meet someone new, but give me just a little time and I’ll warm up quickly. Once I know you’re a friend, I’m all about the love! I’m also very good with other dogs. I have a submissive, easygoing personality and would happily share my space with canine friends. If you’re looking for a small companion with a big heart, a love for snuggles, and an adorable little terrier face, Darla might just be your girl. 🥰

Story
Butterscotch — 1.5 Years Old | 35 lbs | Scruffy Wirehaired Terrier Mix Meet Butterscotch, a 35-pound scruffy little sweetheart who is discovering that maybe life isn’t so scary after all. When Butterscotch first arrived, she was not impressed with her new accommodations! A soft bed? Regular meals? People making sure she was safe? No thank you! Most likely, the streets were all she had ever known, and sometimes even good things can feel frightening when you've never experienced them before. But give a girl a few days… Butterscotch started to realize, “Hey, this is actually a pretty good life!” Her tail began to wag. That worried little face started to soften. And then came the smile. ❤️ Now we're seeing the real Butterscotch emerge—a gentle, sweet, submissive girl who wants nothing more than to trust, be loved, and learn what it means to belong to a family. The best part? She has no idea this is only the beginning. There are still couches to discover, toys to play with, treats to earn, naps in sunny spots, and maybe one day, a person who looks at her and says, “You're home.” Butterscotch has survived the streets. Now she's ready to learn about the very best part of life: Being somebody’s dog. 🐾❤️
