My name is Charlie and I am an adorable cute low rider who would love to find a home. I am very active and would love a home where I have a lot of room to run and go on adventures. I get along fine with other dogs and love to play and romp. I do have a little stranger danger when I am crated if new people come over but that goes away quickly when I know you're ok. I was found in the Rio Grande Valley wandering in the streets, starving with no place to go. I was treated for heartworms and tested negative for Chagas disease. Meet Charlie Charlie is about 1 1/2 years old, weighs 25 pounds and is a super happy, playful pup! He is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. He was rescued by a neighbor after his mom and siblings were confiscated for animal cruelty. We are so grateful she worked so hard to rescue him. We can see Charlie doing well in a home where he can get lots of attention and playtime with his family. He is curious and also enjoys being held. He has a fun personality and he is very smart. He enjoys playing with his toys and other dogs here at the rescue. He is just a fun-loving pup who can’t wait to find a home of his own! He would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment. Charlie is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.This cute little guy is WINSTON but I need to get more pictures of him, I will try today.  He is a pure breed Schnauzer, 1 year old and 12.5 pounds of playful energy.  He is in a home with several fosters big and small breeds and he happily plays with all of them. This guy is a lover as well as he loves to snuggle with me when he is not playing with his pay PEPE or one of the female pugs.  And he walks great on a leash, no pulling, just normal walking. WINSTON was dumped in a far away landfill completely matted with his nails so overgrown they had curved over.  He was great while being groomed for such a long time, he just stood there like a champion. He is well behaved and low maintenance on a daily basis. He was sadly left behind when his family moved away, but thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, Sebastian was rescued and given a second chance at life. Sebastian is full of playful, puppy energy and thrives on companionship—he wants nothing more than to be near his people at all times. Boo WHO?! A Boo who would love to be with YOU! This sweet boy arrived at SNIPSA with an unknown history but we suspect somewhere along the way he had a spinal injury. He gets around like a champ greeting his fan club with a wagging tail. Boo is social, curious, and wants to join you on the sofa for long siestas. His favorite show is the Golden Girls and his favorite food is a sliver of steak. He does well with other dogs and is well behaved in the house. He isn’t loud or overbearing and is eager to find a pillow just to bed down wherever that may be. The downside is Boo suffers from mild urinary incontinence and his bladder needs to be manually expressed a few times a day. We know we have probably lost our audience at this point, but in reality it’s super easy. Just a little squeeze, he relaxes and the bladder is emptied. He is aware when the bladder is full and more than willing to help with the process. He can wear a belly band if needed for added confidence. With this aside, we know Boo will need that special person willing to step up for that special dog. Yet, we are confident there is a home for every dog so we were willing to take that chance.
