Story
Jeepers! Daphne is ready to join your gang. Surrendered with several other dogs by her previous owner, this damsel in distress has been waiting to prove herself. We know she will fit in perfectly with your canine crew–Daphne is intensely loyal, quick-witted, and a lover through and through. Thought to be some sort of Schnauzer/Poodle mix, Daphne is more than just her good looks! Her big brain and eager-to-please disposition make her a great candidate for dog sports, obedience, or a devoted companion. Daphne never turns away a Scooby Snack (a.k.a. chicken jerky or a toy), making her a great training candidate. She does well with other dogs and cats, too. She is a sweet, gentle giant with the best fashion sense—mohawk included! Will you solve your next mystery with Daphne? We need some help from you, now! Apply today!

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.CARRIE along with her sister TRUDY were found dumped in a park and left to fend for themselves in San Antonio, TX.  But that has no effect on their behavior, they are friendly and social and get along with all of the dogs in the foster home.  They are also snuggle bunnies and come to you for love after they are finished playing. They love each other and do not have to be adopted together but would do best in a home with a pet companion.  I do not have cats in my house so I am not sure how they would get along with cats. Both girls are 7 months old and weigh 12 pound and will probably be at least 15-17 pounds as adults.  They are crate trained and potty trained and love to play outside.  I do not have a doggy door, I only use the word 'potty' to let all of the dogs out.  Sometimes they come right back in and sometimes they stay out to run zoomies. If you are interested in adopting CARRIE or her sister TRUDY please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         May 12, 2025, 6:18 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Paxton is a 2 year old, 15 pound mini-Schnauzer.  We think Paxton was dumped because he is an Alpha dog who is dog selective.  I put that he needs to be the only dog in the home because he does not get along with most male dogs but loves the females. It is strange because I watch him play so well with some male dogs and other males dogs he just cannot tolerate.  He is just fine with all of the females. He is not aggressive in any way.  He did bark relentlessly at me when I first met him but that quickly changed later that day and now he is my friend.  He allows me to put pills in his mouth and handle him in any way.  He is just fearful when meeting new people.  If you choose Paxton please be prepared to let him decompress in your home so his fears will go away. He is crate trained but does not like to be in there. He walks very well on a leash.  Paxton would be a great friend to walk daily or run with.  He looks to me for guidance. If you are interested in adopting Paxton, please submit an application on the website below.  You are welcome to call me if you have any questions.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This cute little girl is LADYBUG and she is such a good girl that I hardly know she is in my home.  She is 2 years old and weighs 12.5 pounds and has reached her adult height and weight. Her pictures are not that good but she is just a very cute little thing. LADYBUG gets along with everyone, all of the foster dogs and likes to play.  She is not over active just plays casually and has a good relationship with all of the other foster dogs in my home. LADYBUG came from our very high kill shelter here in San Antonio, TX after being picked up as a stray with road rash from being hit by a car.  She has no injuries and nothing needs to be cared for, she is completely healthy and very low maintenance on a daily basis. She walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting car sick.  LADYBUG would be a good addition to any family as she adjust well in.  any environment.  She is crate and potty trained. If you are interested in adopting LADYBUG please submit an application on the website below and of course you can call me anytime.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
