Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.CARRIE along with her sister TRUDY were found dumped in a park and left to fend for themselves in San Antonio, TX.  But that has no effect on their behavior, they are friendly and social and get along with all of the dogs in the foster home.  They are also snuggle bunnies and come to you for love after they are finished playing. They love each other and do not have to be adopted together but would do best in a home with a pet companion.  I do not have cats in my house so I am not sure how they would get along with cats. Both girls are 7 months old and weigh 12 pound and will probably be at least 15-17 pounds as adults.  They are crate trained and potty trained and love to play outside.  I do not have a doggy door, I only use the word 'potty' to let all of the dogs out.  Sometimes they come right back in and sometimes they stay out to run zoomies. If you are interested in adopting CARRIE or her sister TRUDY please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Paxton is a 2 year old, 15 pound mini-Schnauzer.  We think Paxton was dumped because he is an Alpha dog who is dog selective.  I put that he needs to be the only dog in the home because he does not get along with most male dogs but loves the females. It is strange because I watch him play so well with some male dogs and other males dogs he just cannot tolerate.  He is just fine with all of the females. He is not aggressive in any way.  He did bark relentlessly at me when I first met him but that quickly changed later that day and now he is my friend.  He allows me to put pills in his mouth and handle him in any way.  He is just fearful when meeting new people.  If you choose Paxton please be prepared to let him decompress in your home so his fears will go away. He is crate trained but does not like to be in there. He walks very well on a leash.  Paxton would be a great friend to walk daily or run with.  He looks to me for guidance. If you are interested in adopting Paxton, please submit an application on the website below.  You are welcome to call me if you have any questions.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Sebastian! Sebastian is a handsome young Schnauzer mix with a big heart and even bigger energy! Born around May 6, 2024, and weighing approximately 30 pounds, this lovable boy is ready to start a new chapter after a rough beginning. He was sadly left behind when his family moved away, but thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, Sebastian was rescued and given a second chance at life. Now he’s looking for an active family that will never leave him behind again. Sebastian is full of playful, puppy energy and thrives on companionship—he wants nothing more than to be near his people at all times. He can be vocal when separated or caged away from the family, simply because he loves being part of the action. Daily exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation will help him shine in his new home. If you're looking for a loyal, energetic companion who will keep you smiling and moving, Sebastian is your guy! His adoption fee is $300. Apply to adopt him at www.adoggie4you.org.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 19, 2025, 12:53 pm
