You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Sebastian! Sebastian is a handsome young Schnauzer mix with a big heart and even bigger energy! Born around May 6, 2024, and weighing approximately 30 pounds, this lovable boy is ready to start a new chapter after a rough beginning. He was sadly left behind when his family moved away, but thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, Sebastian was rescued and given a second chance at life. Now he’s looking for an active family that will never leave him behind again. Sebastian is full of playful, puppy energy and thrives on companionship—he wants nothing more than to be near his people at all times. He can be vocal when separated or caged away from the family, simply because he loves being part of the action. Daily exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation will help him shine in his new home. If you're looking for a loyal, energetic companion who will keep you smiling and moving, Sebastian is your guy! His adoption fee is $300. Apply to adopt him at www.adoggie4you.org.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2025, 4:13 pm

Story
If you ever wanted a dog who dances for attention, smiles with an adorable underbite snaggletooth, and acts like every human is his favorite human, well congratulations! Your search is over because Curly Boy is exactly that. He doesn't just walk into a room, he performs. Little paw taps, happy wiggles, and a grin that looks like he knows exactly how cute he is. Whether he's dancing his way into your heart or flashing that perfectly imperfect smile, Curly Boy's personality is pure joy wrapped in a tiny, curly tailed body. Basically, if happiness had a snaggletooth and a dance move, it would be Curly Boy. Watch his video and fall in love with his dancing cutie: https://youtu.be/j3gKngGv2JE?si=RwTiFsCUdme-5FIS At just 6 months old and 14 pounds, Curly Boy is the perfect small-sized sidekick believed to be a Schnauzer/Shih Tzu mix with a curly tail that never stops showing off his joy. That perky curl is basically a preview of who he is: cheerful, affectionate, and completely irresistible. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Curly Boy is extremely people-oriented and thrives on love. He’s the kind of pup who wants to be close. Snuggling, cuddling, and handing out sweet kisses like it’s his full-time job. If you’re looking for a dog who truly bonds with his person, Curly Boy is your guy. What really sets him apart? His entertainment factor is off the charts. He loves to “dance” and uses his paws to politely (and adorably) tap you for attention. He scratches his own back by doing the cutest little back wiggle almost as if he’s giving you a break dance show and crawls along the floor like a Navy SEAL. He knows exactly how to make everyone laugh. Watching him is pure joy. Curly Boy loves toys too! Some of his favorite toys are kongs, balls, anything he can chase, carry, and proudly show off. He’s happy playing with other small dogs and running around with them, but he’s also great at entertaining himself when playtime winds down. Curly also does great with dogs way bigger than him and he doesn’t get intimated by their size either. He makes doggy friends easily. Inside the home, he’s an absolute dream. Curly Boy is crate trained, quiet, and well-mannered, with no unnecessary barking. He’s gentle with his mouth, listens beautifully, and is incredibly responsive. Especially when you call his name and tell him how handsome he is. He’ll sit and pose like he knows he’s being admired. He’s also a fantastic walking buddy, making him perfect for someone who enjoys neighborhood strolls or mini hikes. Car rides? Big fan. One of his cutest habits is sitting behind your neck in the car so he can look out the window like the co-pilot he believes he is. Curly Boy is playful, affectionate, funny, and full of love. He’s the kind of dog who makes every day brighter just by being himself and he’s ready to bring that happiness home for good. We can see him thriving in a home with a backyard and we also believe he would thrive in an apartment/condo. He doesn't require much exercise, a simple walk around the neighborhood, play time with his new fur siblings, or play time with his human is all he needs. He's also happy to just snuggle with you on the couch while you binge watch your favorite show. It doesn't take much to make him happy. He just wants to be loved and be with his people and he's a happy dancing boy. If you’re searching for a small dog with a huge heart, endless charm, and a curly tail that never quits, Curly Boy is ready to meet you. We are willing to test Curly Boy with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sofie Meet Sofie, one of the adorable Cairn Terrier-Poodle puppies born to Kenzie, who found her way to us from a crowded shelter’s euthanasia list. Remarkably, Kenzie was pregnant when she was rescued, and she has since proven to be an incredible mom. Now, her four delightful puppies—Fiona, Panda, Pearla, and Sofie—are ready to embark on their journey to find their forever families, turning 8 weeks old on December 6th. These joyful puppies have been lovingly socialized in their foster home, growing into spirited little companions eager for human connection. To thrive best, they will need a young adult dog in their new home to act as a mentor, offering companionship and guidance as they grow. Families with kids over the age of ten who understand small-breed dogs will find these puppies a perfect match. As each puppy is still developing their unique personality, we invite you to meet them and discover which one resonates with you the most. All four are bursting with happiness and charm, just waiting for the right person to bring them into a loving home. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to adopt one of these sweet pups and experience the joy they can bring to your life! **Adopting Sofie** To apply to adopt Sofie, please use the link below. One of our volunteers will review your application and follow up with you to ask questions, address any concerns, and determine whether you are a good match for this pup. If a match is made, the next step will be a meet-and-greet. Please use a computer to complete the application, as tablets and cell phones may disrupt the process. Sofie has transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble, focusing instead on a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition.                                                                                              The adoption fee is $595 and includes spaying, puppy vaccines, and a microchip.  R abies is omitted as the pup is too young. www.rompinpawsrescue.com Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 29, 2025, 8:24 pm
