They are the most energetic of the litter and really know how to have fun. Yomie absolutely loves attention and being on someone’s lap, shoulder, back or head, purring the entire time. She wants to be close to her person and likes rubbing faces. Although her primary objective is getting attention, Yomie really knows how to have a good time. She is a marathon runner, an avid hunter and will kill any toy that moves in her field of vision. She is slender and built for speed. Yomi’s sister Fuji is just as active as Yomie with her own set of athletic abilities and skills. Fuji is an acclaimed high jumper that enjoys (cat) tree climbing, zooming through the cat tunnel, and carrying toys (big and small) around. Fuji will need a high (carpeted) cat tree, or two, in her home to maintain her climbing skills. Fuji is full of fun and the life of the party. Once she has exhausted her energy Fuji will climb on a lap to relax. These sisters will run around and play until physically exhausted, and sometimes panting. As active as they are, they also enjoy spending some time on the couch hanging out. Yomie and Fuji are smart and are always investigating new things and will likely be in the middle of any home project. This dynamic duo is looking for a home together where they have room to run around and be crazy. They would probably do fine in a home with other friendly cats, a cat savvy mellow dog and teen children, or older. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc. may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. These two one-year-old sister cats (from the same litter) adore each other (they even groom each other), they’re also affectionate with us, super gentle, and love sitting in our laps and being petted. We have a small cat house, pads, scratcher, food, self-fill food and water containers, litter, scooper, bags, and two litter boxes - but one is sufficient - all available to have. They’re currently indoor/outdoor cats and would probably be content being indoors all the time, but assimilated great to going outside.
