Age: 10 months old Gender: Female Breed: Domestic shorthair cat Weight: 7.5 lbs Personality: Miss RuPaul was found in a parking lot in Mississippi at just a couple weeks old and then was flown to TAP. She is very friendly and energetic. She loves to play and make biscuits on her fuzzy blanket. Like all babies she loves food and attention and if you’ve got those you’re good in her book! She is dog and kitty friendly and most likely good with kids (haven't met them yet). Education: She wears a diaper as she is incontinent. Favorite Activities: Playing with any toys but especially strings Looking for: A home where she will have toys and people to give her attention. Ideally no stairs she will need to go up or down. If you need a ray of sunshine that’s Ru Paul! Special needs: Her back legs are paralyzed and she wears a diaper because she can not control when she goes to the bathroom. Hi! My name is Bowlingball and here is a bit more about me :My JourneyI was rescued from the streets of Tijuana by a kind woman who made sure I got the help I needed through Smittens. I had some dental issues when I arrived, including stomatitis, but after a full mouth extraction I’m feeling fantastic—comfortable, pain-free, and happier than ever. I was also diagnosed as FeLV+, and with proper care and lots of love, I’m thriving and ready to find my forever home.My Social LifePeople are my absolute favorite. I adore human companionship and want to be as close to you as possible at all times. Other cats ? I get along well with other cats, but because I’m FeLV+, I’ll need to be either your one-and-only or live with another FeLV+ kitty. Dogs ? I haven’t shared much about dogs yet, but my calm, easygoing nature suggests I’d do best in a peaceful, predictable environment. My PersonalityAffectionate, easygoing, and devoted.I’m a true “velcro cat”—once I start cuddling, I don’t stop. I’m a mellow, middle-aged gentleman with a big heart, a loud purr, and a talent for making sure no one ever feels lonely. Whether as a cherished only cat or with another FeLV+ feline friend, I’m ready to be someone’s loyal, snuggly shadow. My Special Needs / Health InfoI’m FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), which means I’ll need to be an only cat or live with another FeLV+ cat. FeLV is contagious only to other cats—not people or other animals. I’ll need regular veterinary checkups, a good diet, and a low-stress environment to help me stay healthy. Some FeLV+ cats live just a few years, while others live a normal lifespan—I’m cu

Story
Hi! My name is Camden and here is a little more about me:My JourneyI began my journey as a devoted young mama, raising five kittens on the streets. Thanks to a caring trapper and shelter, my kittens were safely rescued and adopted into loving homes. After I was spayed, the plan was for me to return outdoors—but it quickly became clear that I truly enjoy the company of people. Instead of going back outside, I was given the chance to experience indoor life, and I’ve been embracing it with enthusiasm. My Social LifeOther cats: I’ve spent my life looking out for myself on the streets, so I can be protective of my space. I’m still unsure how I feel about other cats and may prefer to be the only feline in the home—for now.Dogs: I haven’t met dogs yet, so I’m still figuring out how I feel about them.Kids: I would likely do best with older, gentle children who understand boundaries. My PersonalityI’m observant, independent, and quietly confident. I know how to take care of myself, but I also enjoy human companionship and the comforts of indoor life. I have a playful streak and a strong sense of awareness—I like to know what’s happening around me and feel secure in my space.I Enjoy…Lounging on a window perch and watching the world go byWet food treats (they’re a favorite!)Playing with my circular track toy and expertly stopping the spinning ball mid-chaseCalm, predictable routines that help me feel safe and settledI’m Not a Fan Of…Feeling crowded or pressured by other catsSudden changes without time to adjustA slow, respectful approach helps me feel comfortable and confident. What Makes Me SpecialI’m a strong, loving mama who successfully raised her kittens against the odds—and now it’s my turn to be cared for. My impressive ball-chasing skills and sharp reflexes are pretty fun to watch, too!My Perfect HomeI’m looking for a calm, loving indoor home where I can enjoy being the center of attention. A home where I can be the only cat, relax on a sunny windowsill, and build trust at my own pace would be ideal. I’m so excited to start this next chapter of my life—and I can’t wait to share it with my forever family.

Hi! My name is Edie, and here’s a little more about me:My JourneyI came to Feral Cat Coalition in March 2025 after suffering severe facial injuries. To help me heal and live comfortably, my right eye had to be removed. With excellent veterinary care and lots of love, I recovered beautifully. My Social LifeOther cats: I would love a calm, friendly pet companion and enjoy sharing my space with another respectful animal.Dogs: I don’t mind dogs! I can be curious and a little hesitant around larger pups at first, but once I warm up, I’m known for friendly sniffs and sweet nose boops.Kids: I’ve never met young children and would do best in a home without them, as I have specific petting boundaries and enjoy a quieter environment. My PersonalityGentle, affectionate, and deeply loving. I’m a certified cuddle bug and proud bed hog—my favorite place is the head of the bed, curled up on my very own pillow. I’m curious and enjoy exploring, but loud noises can startle me, so I appreciate having a safe retreat (like under the bed) when I need quiet time. I love my humans dearly but also value my independence and enjoy having cozy spots where I can rest on my own terms.I Enjoy…Head and neck pets (those are the best!)Tiny stuffed toys and string toysCuddling, especially at bedtime (sometimes right on your face!)Lounging on the bed—especially my pillowHaving a soft, safe place to retreat when things feel overwhelmingI’m Not a Fan Of…Being picked upLoud or chaotic environmentsAggressive or fast pettingBeing touched too much on my back or tail (please be gentle!)What Makes Me SpecialI chirp instead of meowing, purr loudly when I’m happy, and have a unique way of showing love—often by snuggling very close. My combination of expressive communication, strong boundaries, and deep affection makes me a truly special companion for someone who understands cats.My Perfect HomeI’d thrive in a calm, not-too-loud home with patient, cat-savvy humans who respect my boundaries and read my cues. A friendly animal companion would be a bonus, and a quiet environment with cozy hiding spots is a must. I’m happiest where love is gentle, routines are predictable, and naps are plentiful. My Special NeedsI have Feline Hyperesthesia, which means I have heightened sensitivity—especially along my back and tail. This can cause brief skin rippling or overstimulation if touche

Story
How this pet arrived:This pet was brought in by a community member on September 20, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Say hello to Boqwuinta, a sweet kitty with lots of purrsonality! Boqwuinta is a confident, playful boy searching for a home with lots of toys, loving attention and a comfy bed. He enjoys being pet and cuddling up with his people on the couch and is especially fond of chasing after balls or wand toys. His foster family has described him as friendly, gentle and talkative - especially when he's asking for food or affection! Speaking of food, we suspect Boqwuinta has a food allergy, but he's on a prescription diet that has helped manage this condition and should be continued after adoption. If you're looking for a kitty companion who's truly the whole package, inquire about adopting Boqwuinta today! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home! Primary Color: Red Tabby Weight: 15.9 Age: 10yrs 9mths 2wks
